about the build, u want to get as much phys dmg as possible to convert all of it with phys to light gem and convert vinktar, with that ur leech rate will absurd and giving u insane amount of chaos dmg, i dont recommend running around with less then 5k hp and dont play scion until ur familier with a regular beserker bladeflurry char

more dmg gives more leech so having that extra dmg will result in more leech aswell( talking about mirror weapon vs mirror weapon) however in a new league it rly depents what u can get if u get a claw with more dps then a sword def go for it, going back to ur leech from claw this is how important dmg is over leech with vinktar > sword https://i.imgur.com/e326eqI.png claw > https://i.imgur.com/OnrGa0e.png not only does the sword do more dmg it even has higher life leech

Claws give "Physical Attack Damage Leech" and since this build converts all of its damage to elemental (50% from the gem, 40% from the tree and 20% from Vinktar's), we deal 0 physical damage and thus cannot use any leech from claws, blood rage.

Na, Claws give "Attack Damage leeched as Life." Haven't rly played with "The Retch" yet but the theorycraft definately looks fun (and the video too hue), my guess is that it would work even better in a build like https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1931981 if u edit the setup with phys to lightning vinktars and so on.
