In no way does it rain uniques in PoE like it does legendaries in D3.

Good rares and uniques mean nothing if they are super easy to find.

Been ages since I have been on off topic.

Before they nerfed MF in PoE, I used to get about 20 uniques per hour of farming in PoE with like 350 IIR + 150 IIQ. 99% of them were shit uniques. Occasionally got one worth a few chaos orbs. You can farm at that rate for an entire month, 6 hours a day, and you won't make 50ex in currency from the spoils. I know because I actually did it.

Since it doesn't matter anymore, I guess I can share how I did it. I farmed Kole. Because he used to have boss level drops, and I could kill him 1.5-2x per minute. Including anything on the way. Got over 100+ kills per hour on him. Kole could drop nearly every one of the top tier uniques at the time. Used a glass cannon MF sporker. None of which works anymore.

Sold any uniques worth more than a few chaos, and un-ID chaos recipe'd all the rares. Only because I was stuck with a bunch of tabs ID'd rares worth nothing, that I couldn't sell for even 1 alch, and decided I my odds were better off just vendoring them un-ID'd in the long run. This was before poe.xyz, but with it, I'd say you're better off trying to sell rares now than do un-ID'd combos. After 1 month my net worth was still less than 50ex. Which might still be in the top 1% of players if you want to split hairs over it, but most people who got 50ex+ net worth didn't get there by farming. They got there by flipping. And that's the problem I got with PoE. Farming isn't that rewarding. I'll never go balls to the wall farming in PoE again, unless they actually make it worth my time.

What I didn't wasn't luck. I quite literally just blitzed the RNG hard enough to where it had to drop stuff. GGG has made it so you can't boss mob blitz without burning ass loads of currency anymore. There is certainly nothing comparable to kole you can get 2 kills per minute vs, with that high IIR and IIQ values, anymore.
