Low life in this build works by taking the pain attunement skill node which increases damage by 30% when on low life, chaos inoculation is a skill node that makes you immune to chaos damage, but makes it so that you only have 1 hp and have to rely on energy shield only. I like the idea of this build and want to learn it but as first time playing essence drain it feels a bit clunky. So a few pointers would be appreciated. First I know my gems are still low level and my dps will peak when they are maxed out. But still I feel really squishy even when I have 7,5k shield and casting contagion always before essence drain feels slow and is hard to target.
