Haven't tried one... saving it for first divine/carto box in maps. We have no idea what quality does to a box.

Cartographer and divination Box spawns in T13 map.
I scour and raise quality to 20 with my 8 orbs.
I use alcs and 10 chaos total on both:
+2 chest level, +quantity on cart
+ unique item cards + extra cards on divination
Results:
Cartographer box: over 14 maps and more than half were T13+ (4 T15) - in value around 50 chaos.
Divination box: Around 20 cards - a Headhunter card, a Kaom's heart card and a Shavs Wraps card. That is along side several good divination cards for currency like Chaotic Disposition. The value: well go on poe.trade and do some work as well.
Get good at rolling your boxes and stop complaining when you don't understand how orbs work due to lack of knowledge.

While I don't doubt the scenario as such, it might just be RNG after all. Sample size of 1 is... well, statistically irrelevant.

He claims to have gotten astronomically rare strongboxes to have also conveniently dropped astronomically rare div cards and high tier maps in abundance all because he 20%'d them, even with insane rng those odds are still suspect.

Used 4 engineer orbs on a diviners box in I believe a t5-6 map a while back rolled with additional and increased quantity with cards that give corrupted items. Nothing worthy dropped from the box. I will try next on a carto box and I assume the engineer orbs would work by making all maps 20% if I made the box 20%. If and when I find a carto box I will post my findings.

Yes, so what?
However, even if the drops were that good, no one can say whether that was because of the orbs or RNG being RNG. That is always a problem experiments.
