Dxgi error device removed

I am having the same problem - DXGI error device removed... it happens as the game first loads the map after selecting the characters... unfortunately thats not all thats going wrong... my character selection screen often fails to even load to after character selected - in that instead of going to the world map it reloops back to the login screen. I've been trying for days to figure out what happened. PoE technical support, HELP.

I had the same problem. I fix it by going to the in game graphics options and switching my direct x version from 11 to 9. I only had a problem with act 5 and now the has not been a problem. I switch back to 11 after i got past the problem area. Hope this helps
