lag Spikes since 3.0

Please fix these lag spikes, even Chris Wilson said the team is lazy -.-

Same issues as others. 3.1 was the start for me. I just lost to elder because of straight lag spike deaths as soon as I wewnt into the portal. Had a spike a few days ago that lasted long enough for me to do a speed test and everything was running perfect in the speed test. Gaming computer on 60mbps charter internet. No issues with other games. Getting ridiculous.

Speed tests are useless insofar as actually trying to diagnose any sort of connection issues.

Go read the first sticky in this forum, make your own thread, and post the results of the tests you are asked to run there.

You do NOT have the same problem as everyone else. Sure, you may have lag spikes, but your traffic doesn't take the same route as anyone else here. And just because "other games" work fine means absolutely nothing as well (why do people actually believe this??), since your traffic to those games takes a different route than it does to POE.

Once again, to anyone looking for actual help and doesn't want to just bitch, whine, and moan; You are NOT going to get help in a thread such as this. Read the stickies, make your OWN THREAD, and post the results of the tests you are asked to run in said thread.

My issue is with the game and I'm sure it's related to a lot of other peoples problems. The fact that none of these issues get fixed is sad. When I receive my lag spikes, my game shows that it isn't trying to send any data. If I stay in the instance, it slowly gets worse until the game crashes. If I leave the instance and then come back in, it normally fixes the issue. Not reloading a new instance, rejoining the same instance. That tells me it's an issue with the game, not my system or my internet. Logging in has been an issue lately as well. I have to try like 4 times before it works. Fix the damn game. I love the fact that new patches with new content keep coming out, but there continues to be a growing number of people not able to play the game.

Also, I did the test that everyone always mentions and i get no packet losses.

You know, there might actually be some merit to hundreds of people saying the exact same thing about the lag spikes and that PoE is the one of the only games where they encounter it. Is it really that hard to recognize there might be a systemic problem going on?

Yeah no change since I stopped playing a couple months ago. Ping spikes still making the game unbearable...

This. Been playing since closed beta with the same internet connection and have no problems until 3.0 and they seem to be getting worse. Im about to give up on this game.
