When do people really do uber lab?

I have played since open beta and what remains as the most simultaneously frustrating and rewarding experiences in poe is completing uber lab on a temp league. I generally wait till I'm grossly overleveled (level 85+) to do it but I was wondering if anyone was able to do it closer to level 75 without being mayor of twink town?
I tried several times to do uber lab at 81 but failed because he would clip me with his wave slash and i would instantly die at 4200 life or he'd smack me under vulnerability for much the same result. Haven't ever done it. Doesn't have a big enough carrot to go through the damn trials. Hate it that much.

All depends on your builds so you can't really get a straight answer. I've failed it at 90 on a pure evasion bow character with low single target damage (Voltaxic LA without frost wall gimmick). I've completed it at level 69 with a bladefall trap character with about 2.3k hp.
The thing about that fight, not even counting the buffs he can get if you allow him, is that some of his attacks hit like a truck on non-armored characters. So the longer the fight, the more chances you'll slip, and with everything else going on in that room, it doesn't take a big slip to die. Focus 2 seconds too much on a random target around, get hit by green balls, get slowed, he leap slams you. Dead. Proper built melee characters are the easiest I have with him and can generally do it around 75 (max 80). Squishier ranged I wait until 80-85. I also generally allow him to get full buffs for more keys, unless I'm playing a really garbage build and just want the ascendancy (like my meme Aberrath's hooves character). |

General mapping rules, so whenever I can do t8 maps just fine.

honestly mid to high 80s in the past, but maybe this league i can do it sooner. In the past I would need my build to be pretty much done to be able to screw izaro ez.

up to t9 in map at level 78 so far, only bothered with normal+cruel lab.
I generally aim to have a build that can function without uberlab , not a lab fan so ill do it when im overgeared and can do it lazy. Lab is a chore
