Cannot create thread error

Everytime to try to goto my hideout from a map now I get this. Focus on fixing this crap instead of trying to pump out an expansion of content every patch, you're going to start losing players.
I wanted to hit level 95 and do 36 challenges but the constant crashes have worn my patience thin. I don't think I'm going to make it.

A rare crash in the middle of a map just cost me 10% xp. Was not pleased. This was after having the last 4 portals back to hideout cause crashes so I'm at the end of my rope.

same here every time entering the docks nothing seem to work
Had the same error today. Clicking "OK" crashed game. Was able to kill game with taskmanager and restart game after that and this error did not come up again - others (different errors) did though...
This happens to me multiple times a day and it seems to be random.
Sometimes I just run around in a map and it happens, other times I switch from location and it happens.

add me to the list.

What's strange is this just started happening to me today. Only changes I made was switching to DX9 and turning Shadows to Off. I was getting the 100% GPU issue and only way to get it down was to turn off shadows, which required DX9 from what ive tested.

Gonna switch back to DX11 and see if it still happens
the error still happening even after patch. please fix
I get the same problem also multiple times per day. Tried reinstalling game but did not fix the issue.
I think my problems started when I used the NVIDEA GeForce Experience to run Path of Exile.
For performance I had switched the compatability mode to Windows 8.
After that I gave NVIDEA GeForce Experience a try, messed around in it a lot until I eventually settled for the lowest widescreen resolution, best performance settings, directx 9 and engine multithreading off (only possible to change when running the game in options).
Somewhere while optimalizing my settings with NVIDEA GeForce Experience the error messages started to occur.

Now if I switch to DirectX 11, my game won't start and gives the error message:
Unable to create process: Error 740

Taking off compatability mode doesn't change anything, changing the settings from running as administrator to not require that will make it apparently run again (which's in combination with no compatability mode and not requiring administrator), I'll just see how that goes (see if the error messages pop up again).

I posted about this same issue two weeks ago. Nothing I've changed has fixed it. I've done the filechecks..changed Direct X versions etc. The answer is simple: the problem is in the patch. GGG needs to investigate it and find a solution because there's nothing players can do on their own. It's ridiculous. I crash transitioning. I crash sitting in town doing nothing. Crash, crash, crash all day long. I can't play so I'm done..until this gets fixed ;x
