Hello guys again, another league, another problems.. and i fix it.
If you have problems with crashes right after gears, make a few simple steps to solve this problem: 1. After game restart patcher is needs to be restarted too (if you don't close him lately). Tested on Windows 7 and XP (x32). Steam is untested but should work. x64 (game) is not supported (should NOT, but.. TofiQ says that it works on x64 too.. impossibru-face level: asian).

Steam clients is not supported, sorry (steam will not let your to replace executable) x64 clients is not supported - use x32 until GGG not fix it (if you have this problem on x64 client) - VirusTotal: 19 / 63, WTF?! - Fix is based on Cheat Engine: Win32/HackTool.CheatEngine.AF - antiviruses dislikes this program, but this is not a virus. - Why i should trust you - If you don't - simple wait for official fix - What is you did? - I just change 3 bytes in executable file to solve this problem. And its working.. - Will it help me with random crashes / crashes between zones? - Nope. This dirty fix is only for a startup crash / freeze before login screen. - Will it help me with DX11 crashes? - If you can run this game on DX9 - no. - My anti-virus keep deleting this file, can i do something with it? - Add my fix to anti-virus white-list, POE3.0Fix_2.0 itself and %TEMP%\cetrainers\ folder. ------------------------ For a GGG developers: Look for a code on 00A8E70C address, it contains single problematic instruction - MOV AL, bla-bla-bla:  I wasted a few hours trying to understand the source of the problem, but failed. Dude I'm so glad I talked about it with you earlier. You saved me and a ton of players during the breach bullshit with black screen while GGG counted money and got confused with their own mistakes. And now you're back again, fixing the game for them, without much IT knowledge to boot (as you said on december at least). I thank you in name of all players! | |

Dammit, it did not crash, but looks like it does not work out of debugger on a second run.. game asks for a patch.

It got me to the log in screen (which is more than before I switched to your .exe so thank you for that) but then when I attempted to log in I got a message "There has been a patch and you need to update to continue". Any guess what I did wrong?

Quick & dirty patcher is done. Using Game Trainer Studio..
1. Remove --nopatch option 2. Restore original file (from backup or automatically with launcher) 3.
