Innocence and Sin
Imply.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |

My interpretation...
The story of Innocence and Sin is a story of two brothers, not necessarily good versus evil. Specifically, the story focuses on the necessity to have both good and evil in order to have balance. When the brothers are apart, Innocence becomes corrupt and Sin unleashes the beast. Innocence slips into absolutism while Sin commits the most heinous acts possible. Similar to what might happen is only good or evil were allowed to exist. When Innocence is defeated and able to exist once again through a willing host, Sin goes about seeking your help to correct his own wrongs. As such, Sin seeks forgiveness. When the two are finally rejoined, and after Kitava is defeated, Innocence is heart broken by his own remorseful spirit. Both cause great suffering when apart, then experience remorse for those acts when rejoined. If the story were to continue after Act 10, then Innocence would depart towards the "south". Away from each other, the two brothers would sink back into their old ways. After all, you can't commit sin if you don't know what it means to be pure, and you can't be pure if you don't know what it means to sin. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒░░░░░░░░░░░░░ cipher_nemo ░░░░░░░░░░░░░▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Last edited by cipher_nemo#6436 on Jan 22, 2018, 11:55:12 AM
