pre-nerf voltaxic spark. The zoom-zoom was so good.

Long, long time ago, when SPORK totem was a thing. I still remember that Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... everlasting sound.

EDIT : Actually, with fun in mind, Warp dual totem build was quite hillarious

Most fun build I played was a Ice Trap Saboteur back in 2.4 with 100% cold to fire conversion and 100% fire to chaos conversion.

Yep. Trippledipping at its finest.
The build was able to oneshot T15 Bosses with ease (except Mala).
Dual Consuming Dark was the key.

2nd most fun build was even earlier, back in 2.0 (Or even earlier idk, we had no Ascendancy classes back then). It was a CI Firestorm Build (Legasi's) with 100% fire to chaos conv. Insanly strong build. I had much fun with it.

I think the most fun I have played was a self made build using breath of the council and legacy voidheart, max block, tank with lots of reactive skills like vengeance. It took down bosses so easily due to doubledipping poison/bleeds and was fun in pvp too :D

Some of the most fun builds I've played around with are based off of power charge consumption.

Definitely not the strongest, (although one of them could trivialize bosses it couldn't trivialize content), but by far and above the most fun I've had with any build to date.

The first, which is now dead and can't be replicated, was a Frost Wall build that utilized Frost Wall's (previous) power charge consumption to ignore its cooldown time in addition to spell echo. When you combine Frost Wall with spell echo, the spell casts in the same place (rather than what I expected: a wall being displaced and moved to the side) so you're getting two walls on the same spot, dealing damage twice almost instantly. With high cast speed and a low base cast time, this was hilariously strong. Just check Frost Wall's base damage to get an idea of how cheesy it could be when it auto-knockbacks enemies and prevents them from moving in any capacity. Or, shit, just look it up on YouTube. There's still a video of it in action in PvP. Here's a link to how broken this mechanic was against single-target: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxiWu3T4dQo

Second is a non-crit cold snap permafreeze build. This was prior to Ascendancy, but it could reliably permanently freeze enemies. But was hella slow.
Bring back race seasons.

turbo leap slam was the most fun build i've ever had, weaker than sweep but still map viable. 2.0 killed it tho. terminus est flicker was fun for a bit, but it got nerfed to garbage just as i managed to get it up and running.

i don't know if there are fun builds anymore.
United in dream, lowlife chaos based SRS. FeelsBadMan Rip srs in 3.0
Still sane exile?
My most fun build is actually one I just put together after the end of Legacy League. I had dropped Rigwald's Savagery and Command during Legacy League and wanted to try a Dual Wield Cleave Gladiator using those two uniques. So, after Legacy ended, I respecced my lvl 94 Gladiator into dual wield.

100% bleed from Rigwald's Savagery + extra gore from BOR + Gratuitous Violence = every monster is a glorious bleedsplosion!!

Oh my, it is so much fun! There are times the entire screen is practically covered with blood. :)
I loved cyclone (pre aoe nerf), HOWA spectral throw, srs and lightning arrow/barrage ranger. Also endurance charge discharger when enduring cry was supported by spell echo.
