MELEE?!?!?!?! META?!?!?!?! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Melee is by no means meta. Almost all endgame builds are not melee. It's just one of the easiest classes to build from scratch.

Every patch there is melee gems that are op and beat every others gems into the game until they are nerfed because they became too meta:
ice-crash, EQ,bladevortex, sunder....

This is how the game is balanced.
EzBreesy you say some nonsense in most of your posts. You know too little about this game, so you'd better start learning its mechanics.
Blade Vortex isn't melee, it's a spell.

Just because a skill is nerfed or not nerfed does not make it meta. ES was meta for AGES and it didn't get nerfed for over a year.

Melee has never been strong in this game. Explore the forums and the game more and you'll realize how truly bad it is compared to everything else.

Is this some sort of joke which i didn't understand?

Played a wander for first time this turmoil sc race, easily destroyed t13+ maps with a 5-link barrage and some 4-link gloves KB with the +3.5% crit. Gear was definitely sub-optimal, wand was just slightly better than the one I found when I was leveling. Full lightning damage btw, with Wrath aura (lvl 21 with lvl 2 empower), lightning damage rolls on jewelry, wand and one lighting damage unique jewel. I think gloves could roll lightning damage, but i didnt have.

Granted, I died way too many times because i played on my 15 fps laptop and since I using rather weak gear and specced into damage, I only had 3.8k life. Still, I could instakill most stuff and didn't die even once to reflect because vaal pact is perfectly balanced and shouldn't be nerfed. I even cleared elemental reflect maps without dying once, without changing my playstyle at all to fit in.

SO yea. As someone who also played melee and bow builds before, I can say with confidence that wander is still very strong and, if I bothered to build it right, and got a +2 barrage helmet, got life rolls on al items, actually capped my resists, and didnt get thermal shutdowns on my laptop when I opened breaches, it would've been awesome.

I was also confused at first, and experienced some moments of low damage. I was lacking the lightning damage jewel, some better rings and actually leveling Wrath, if i recall correctly. I was also not specced into the ridiculously powerful wand wheel at the top of the tree.

So, there you have it. I built wander and i found it to be extremely strong.
