Release date roasts Blizzard?!?

The Fall of Oriath update is scheduled for August 4th, Friday, giving people enough time to play the Season 11 update, and Necromancer on Diablo 3, before they get bored and come over here.

Not many ppl bought the necromancer anyway..
If they had half a brain they'd understand that the necro actually killed d3 instead of reviving it.
Blizzard's originality is nearly gone, every new game or update or DLC they have is a copy of other games.

I hope GGG doesnt ruin their game with xbox support, it has the potential to be a legendary game.
Then there is Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion from Hearthstone (another game I kinda invested in) that will probably come out the week after FoO release. Knowing pack day opening, it will have Kripp attracting over 100k viewers in twitch because he opens up so many packs (last expansion he opened up over 1000 packs).
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

These kind of threads pop up every once in a while. And you know what? Blizzard is doing fine despite the many threads.

If you like their games, play them. If not, don't. It's as simple as that.
To be fair Blizzards failure to please the oldschool D2 fans has been a huge reason Path of exile came from nowhere and got so big.
So I guess GGG are really happy about that.

Blizzard are still doing fine, yes. They are the most famous game company in the world. But that doesn't mean there are many oldschool blizzard fans who got dissapointed over what D3 have become.
I think blizzard games get way more spotlight then they deserve.
Just look at the necromancer DLC, all the gaming sites write a bunch of articles about. But there is very little talk about PoEs 20x bigger expansion.
Even tho i think PoE has just as many active players.
There is alot of fanboyism when it comes to Blizzard, which really isn't good for anyone.

Hell reviewers did not even see the flaws of vanilla D3, because of all the hyped fanboys they where.
Only after the majority of players started complaining they changed their mind.
Majority of gaming "journalists" and news sites are a joke, often sell out to the highest bidder, and trip over themselves to write some tosh about a topic that will brring them the most views or "clicks". And let's be honest here, anything blizzard related will attract way more clicks than anything PoE related.

But that is as it should be. Regarding the release of FoO, I have really burned out on my initial hype, and at this point won't mind to wait extra, if it ensures that that expansion release will be as smooth as possible.

P.S. I hold a lot of disdain for blizzard after D3 release, and did not use a single product of this company after that terrible dump that they unloaded on their fanbase. Not even overwatch, even though I desperately want to see a good first person arcady shooter.

lel!
i got the necro pack and its f**king awesome.

Prefer to spend money on that than getting another supporter pack, especially that I dont like where this game is going (Lab, atlas ect).

So worth it, anyone who enjoyed d3 in the past they would love this new char.

It goes a nice flavour, its a bit like necro from d2 and can be really OP when well geared.

So yeah go on, and get it now, dont spend money here.
YES I support the game, NO I don't agree with many GGG decisions

Lab still sucks balls.

I miss Zana already.

There might have been a time when GGG worked around Blizzard's comings and goings, but I don't think they worried about it anymore.

I'd believe that when a 3 month POE league kicks off at the same time as a D3 season. They never have done and I doubt they ever will. Not that I really mind - I usually catch up with old friends and play the first week of a D3 season when the POE league are winding down a bit.
They're getting 3.0 out on it's own schedule. Any idea that they're trying to time this thing to coincide with some other event is silly.
