The speed they clear in is utterly unrelated to drops, going under 2 hours to normal Malachai kill solo is 100% skill - plenty of them do it while struggling to find a decent 4 link. And if you party up 1-70 in 6 hours isn't even that hard - good party play saves 10-15 minutes per act quite easily.

Well, there you are. I'm sure you can find a few players who never donated and find only crap



But you can find plenty of supporters claiming to have poor drops...

And I have never seen a supporter claiming, "Gee, I just got all this awesome stuff after donating!"

Not necessarily true. Of all the people I play with, I do the least high level content. I pretty much play through the acts over and over and skip mapping entirely. I'm pretty sure I've seen Charan say he also doesn't do much end game content.

For me, the fun of PoE is exploring many different character builds, not becoming wealthy and powerful to tackle bosses like Shaper with each character.
