Humans don't possess this ability but the greys do. The autopsies they did on the grey aliens from the Roswell crash confirmed their ability to manipulate electromagnetism with their minds. Magnetite was found inside of their brains, including some superconducting materials, and other minerals not on the periodic table of elements. This is consistent with many abduction cases where Greys have kidnapped hapless humans to experiment on them like lab rats. Full body paralysis without any reports of being hit with any sort of weapon or device. It's done via electrokinesis. The human body operates on electrical impulses, which means its function can be disrupted by electrokinesis.

These creatures have no mouth or nose. They even have doubts whether such a species could have evolved normally, and suspect that they're biological based android clones, that were genetically engineered. They're physically incapable of doing labor themselves. They also have no lungs, or stomach, or digestive tract. Which means they didn't need to breathe or eat, apparently. They did possess a number of organs in their body that they weren't sure of what their purpose was. One theory is they actually feed off of electromagnetic energy. That's their substitute for eating, drinking and breathing. They're carbon based lifeforms, and are also bipeds, but the similarities end there.

For anyone concerned about the Greys, don't be. They're not here to exterminate us. Or we'd all be dead already. The theory is these Greys are a servant race created to serve another group, etc, they're biological droids. And that they're using the Greys to experiment on human DNA and use it as a means to genetically engineer another slave race, or incorporate some human genes into the Greys. There have been reports of human + grey hybrids, so that's probably exactly what they're doing.

Also from your story, I feel a lot of fear still. I find Ben Jonson citation is true here, "there is no greater hell than to be prisoner of fear". And fear comes in many forms and shapes, both real and imaginary.
