Electrokinesis, do you believe it's possible? What are your thoughts?

I'm not sure how I personally feel about it yet, but I'd like to see what others think in regard to Electrokinesis.

If you just google the word "electrokinesis" lots of sites pop up about it, and while I've seen some that say the stuff on the site "may or may not be true", there's actually quite a bit of info on what people believe and feel/experience.

Just to be clear, the definition of the word "Electrokinesis" is "the psychic power to manipulate energies, electrical currents, and generate electricity with the mind. Users are able to conduct, generate and manipulate a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons) which give the user control over electric fields, electric charges, electric currents, electronics, and electromagnetism.".

So share your thoughts! :)

On a very limited scale, yes. We have some degree of control over electric charges and currents (and the associated magnetism) stored in and flowing between special cells in our bodies called neurons. However, the maximum electrical output is small, and the ability difficult to control with precision.

I think society might have to settle for rubbing their feet on the carpet and zapping each other.

Yeah but that's not controlling it with your mind.

Anything is possible... The invention of the tv, light bulb, airplanes.... Once thought impossible pseudo science. Now look at us... Imagination is far more important than any knowledge.

I know this might sound fantastic but the human mind have been doing this for sometime now. We have electricity, electric fans, air conditioners, televisions, cameras, flat screens, cell phones, the internet, cars, big ass airplanes, supersonic jets, warships, submarines, bullet trains, nuclear power plants, nuclear weapons, satellites, lasers, the large hadron collider, etc etc etc.

All are products of the human mind manipulating energies. Products of what we call Science.

But sure, I would like to have the power of Storm, the eye of Cyclops, the strength of Hulk, the magic of Dr. Strange, the cunning mind of Batman, the time traveling ability of Cable, and the speed of Flash. Throw in the Infinity Gauntlet 6-socketed with all the Infinity Stones and we're good to go.

I think looking at Nicola Tesla quotes on energy is pretty relevant to this thread :)

We should find these people and enslave them to serve as a green energy source while we figure out solar/wind.
