Custom Profile Picture

I've noticed that there is a bunch of PoE users on the Forums that have custom profile pictures but do NOT have any supporter packs listed under their title bar. Does this mean they emailed support and inquired about getting a custom made forum profile picture. I would like to know more information on this subject because now that I am using the Path of Exile Forums more than when I joined, I want to (if possible) invest in getting a custom profile picture. I've looked at some other threads and read that minimum value of a custom profile picture is around $500? It would be awesome if people can confirm this. If that is true, I plan on emailing Grinding Gear Games and asking them about the custom picture. Does GGG actually make a picture that you suggest. How long does it take for the picture to be delivered in it's final form. Is there a waiting list for people to get their pictures? Any answers to these questions would be amazingly awesome! I am hoping GGG still offers some sort of package for the pictures and I am hoping I can get one paid off by 2018.

An avatar in raw form in terms of well just an avatar nothing else is literally 500$ same with the div card 500$

They make it to your liking until you both agree to it.

There hasn't been a avatar ''support'' pack in awhile I don't see those coming anymore.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to pay for a custom forum avatar.

Whether there is a queue to create them, ull need to check with GGG. Mine took really long to complete but there was some administrative hiccup.

WOW 500$ for a avatar picture? Do u get something else with it? I mean if u spend 500 on supporter packs u get a lots points, mtx.... Bit just for that portrait? U can get decent holiday for that money;) but every1 is different and spends money on what he/she like;)

Agreed. I feel like that's by design.

I'd guess there's greater demand for avatars, div cards & uniques than GGG would like, so they give the option so folks don't complain they can't get something other people have (which gamers are notorious for), but set the price high enough to reduce interest. Which makes me pretty jelly of you folks, 'cause I've been seriously considering biting the bullet for a while now. :P

I'm very grateful, but I'm not sure I'd be comfortable accepting something so generous from a stranger - I hope you don't think I was dropping a hint! I've enough money that I could get one; I just don't have enough for it to be an impulse buy. I'm also not sure what the avatar would be. :)
