poe-racing.com bug?

I made a character in Mayhem SC that I got to 85. Once I got to 85, I donated all of my items and then deleted my character. Later I went to check on my character on poe.racing and I got the message, "Could not find any registered characters for this event ..." when I typed in my account. I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me if i need to make a new character before the race is over? It was a really painful trek to 85 and restarting from scratch sucks.
