PoE hurts. Literally hurt my hand.

Play through the pain. Rub some dirt on it.
I was self-employed for a number of years in a field that largely involved repetitive movement (sorting through trading cards). One of the pitfalls I encountered was tedonitis (tennis elbow is another term). This is sort of like Carpal Tunnel except instead the muscles degrading, they're merely inflamed. The pains are apparently the same, so knowing what you actually have is very important!

After 6 months of consistent pain, I broke down and went to the doctor. They prescribed me some garbage wrist brace that only made the pain worse. Trying to use your muscles while they're restricted only made things worse, since now they had to do double the work. After 9 months total time, and multiple doctor visits, I sought out relief elsewhere. I ended up getting referred to a physical therapist and holy shit, my life changed immediately. They teach you stretching exercises, do deep and painful massages on the affected area, and do strength training. Within 3 weeks, I was mostly cured.

TL;DR, if you have not gone to a physical therapist, I would suggest going asap. Even without insurance the visits were about $60 and only took 4 session. After that you can take what you learned and do it from home.

I hope you find relief one day! It is as glorious as the day you piss out a kidney stone.

Your wrist is comprised of more tendon than muscle, so that's a completely different topic.

And a wrist won't do "double the work" when in a brace. What happens is that other muscles and tendons will pick up the slack, and hence they'll be doing more work. If you're in pain all over that arm, then yeah, a brace isn't going to help. A brace (ie: stabilizer) will only help for a specific area, such as a finger or the wrist.

Sorry about that, I should've clarified that all my pain was in the forearm, which is indicative of either tendonitis or carpal tunnel. The brace they gave me was to limit my hand and arm from moving too much. Either way, it did not work for me at all so I wanted to mention an alternative if it also doesn't work for anyone here.
I currently have 3 different mice that put my hand in slightly different positions. When one hurts I switch to another. It helps a lot. Also swapping left/right click functions occasionally.
Is playing on a console more pain-free for you? Maybe you should try playing PoE (when it comes to xbox) and other games this way I guess.
what I do:

dont assign the move key to the left mouse button, you dont want to be clicking that often with the arm you have to move the mouse with. I have the move key set to W on my keyboard and I hold it down with my left hand the way ud walk forward on a first person shooter. That hand stays still over the keys so the tension of holding down the button isnt aggravated by having to move that arm. Essentially W just drives my character towards my mouse cursor, I dont constantly click it I just hold it down when I want to move, I have attacks on left and right mouse click. It leaves ur right arm a lot less tense so its easier to move the mouse around a bunch without straining your arm/wrist muscles/tendons.

I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

that is very good suggestion, I will try it for sure

BTW guys my wrist problems are solved in past thankfully to this DIY gloves and changing wrist bending into moving whole arm. Now I feel pain during PoE sessions only INSIDE HAND:

in this area

Pain is body telling you it's not good for you. doh? It's like shin splints or sore muscles you don't get back working out next day why would you put wrist through 12 hrs every day - cut back.

What about surgery? They say it's pretty effective in curing the issue.
