PoE hurts. Literally hurt my hand.

After last 12h non-stop beta session I can't play PoE any more. Game is great, I love new content and I'm very excited but my hand is full of pain. It feels like burning inside, I can't make any fast repetitive movement. This is not new problem to me, it's so called "Carpal tunnel syndrome"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpal_tunnel_syndrome

I play too much and too often, my hand can't endure this and pain starts. Nothing new, but PoE it's only game making this problems back. In other games "mouse click fest" is way more intensive and problematic. I can play 16h/7 of 24h/7 days World of Warcraft or World of Tanks and feel comfortable and painless. But after just 2 days in PoE pain will be back. This is sad, because I like PoE and want play much more.

What can be done to prevent this pain:

- allow players use WASD for movement ( I know it's unusual in H&S genre, but definitely will put less pressure for mouse usage frequency. )
- make currency pick-up automatic based on proximity ( that will be huge help greatly lowering total click numbers )
- auto sorting and auto transferring pre-defined items to stash will help too
- stop playing PoE or making short session only ( this is very hard from mental perspective, only strong pain make me choose this option and go play WoT for example )

Tell me what do you think.

Just warm up your hand every half an hour.Make 30 pushups every two maps, 30 burpees every 4 maps.

Being physically active can decrease the risk of developing CTS.
you really shouldent play for that long non-stop
I dont see any any key!
BTW I'm using special DIY glove to prevent wrist pain, and moving whole arm during mouse movent tiring avoid wrist bending at all. Glove is made form woman evening Lycra miten and teflon tape. Wrist pain is no longer any problem, now only my hand hurts inside in this area:

Glove looks bad but helps a lot:

I think you shouldn't be doing something that you clearly are not capable of or/and fit to do.
You don't see someone in a wheelchair trying to stand up and run a marathon.
What you are suggesting is basically either impossible (the wasd system for example) or just plain blatant dumbing down of content which is basically everything else you suggested, apart from the las line.

What you are basically saying is that you have quite serious illness that directly affects your performance, but instead of learning to live with it and control what you are doing, you'd rather end up hurting your self.

I get all the FoV sliders for those with motion sickness, they can't really do jack about it, and sometimes it's so bad that even first minute of a particular video game can make you sick.
I also can perfectly understand (and shame on PoE for not having this) different colorblind options. I have seen games having like 5 different ones right out of the box as it gets released.

What i don't get is how a physically impaired person blatantly can admit to not really give a shit about said impairment and instead goes about the busyness of suggesting bs that's either impossible to do or just plain simple dumb.
No rest for the wicked.

It's hard to stop, online games are my main passion since Unreal Tournament ( 1999 year )
I'm easy capable to play many other titles but just PoE gives me most serious issues.

If NoHandKen can do it,I think there will be a way for you too.Its certainly not Poe's fault.

Maybe play easy for wrist builds, cyclone, channeling skills,or assign the skill to a button. If there is will there is a way
Bye bye desync!

once had some wrist issues during my wow days

used to play on a mix of hydocodone and booze

Did i have a drug problem, wrist problem, or gaming problem?
I dont see any any key!
I found it's all a mater of how you sit. I got my elbow on the armrest, my wrist on the table and move the mouse mostly with my fingers. May not be the most accurate way to point and click but I haven't had problems with the wetware ever since.
