Just playing the one week legacy race and I already know that I will miss legacy next month. It is by far, the most fun and thought through league we had.

The idea to let us decide what is fun, was brilliant and should be added to the standard game. They could add new league stones over the year, maybe implement them with the currently useless Zana.

im sad it goes too but one note: there is very little 'decision' with legacy

you get the best Breach, Beyond and that third (Onslaught for IIQ or bloodlines for map drops - or nemesis if HH is your goal) stones you can get and run them together

breach will be in the main game, beyond already is


what i will miss is the long list of non-meta magic modifiers to unused stones. would like to see at least some of these as map mods or 'special events'. Yama the White, Warbands spam, guaranteed Remnant of Corruption, the like. there were many small but somewhat fun additions to the system

all eclipsed with how brutally efficient Breach+Beyond is.. it also showcased the 'league-creep' we 'enjoyed' for the last few leagues. each one more proffitable than the one before. pretty worrying tbh. this made some stones like anarchy, ambush pretty useless except for leveling

the urge to fully move to reddit where shitty troll posts like this get downvoted to oblivion really get's overwhelming sometimes.

devs are already there, new info is posted there exclusively, long time players moved there, feedback is read there first by ggg...

I'm glad they extended it.

I'm not playing standard and just like how you said, stuff on the beta gets destroyed when 3.0 goes live so whats the point. Even though i'm already at the end of act 7, i don't see much point in spending time unless i'm specifically looking for bugs or new builds. (which that could probably be done in a day before 3.0 goes live anyway.)

I see this thread as a "COME ONNNNNNNNNNN I DON'T WANNA WAIT 1 MONTH HURRRRYYYYYYYY UPPPPP AND END ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT".

good, thought-provoking posts that go against group think. or good posts telling a technique that get downvoted by people who don't want GGG or others to know and nerf/fix.

the ability to arbitrarily silence opinions is too powerful on reddit.

If rather go through dozens of 'fake news', troll and shit posts than see (or rather miss) an opinion silenced.

but of course if you only have 5 mins (like everyone who falls for fake news and sbit) to read and pretend like you know what's going on, then reddit is king.
