Help me to buy a PC. Need advice.

Thank you all for your inputs. Interesting read.
I am not entirely sure what SSD is or what I should do about that. But this is the final set-up I made: - Intel Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake (2 cores / 4 threads - 3.5Ghz) - MSI H110M Pro VH - Memory 8gb ddr4 Crucial - HD 1TB sata III - Zotac GeForce GTX1050ti 4gb gddr5 - Power supply: EVGA 500B - Cougar MX200 The company will build it for me for US$ 645 I know the price could be high for what I get, but I have to consider I don't live in a first world country and prices are inflated, plus the company will build it for me. But hey, if I can run PoE and average games with good performance, then I am good. |

" It's a luxury item which improves loading times. It won't help your FPS. While it's not for me to cast aspersions, I doubt bhavv was trying to be helpful. A computer matching their recommendation would cost $2,500+. They're also currently temp banned. " That looks like a solid build for the budget! Have you factored in the cost of a Windows license? I don't remember it being mentioned. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

" Thx. " Good to know! " They said they can install the OS for me but they don't sell software. |

Currently need an advice!
I am thinking of buying 2-3 LCD/LED TV(s). Budget isnt a constraint, however, we want top notch product but it should be the best deal for best money. In this regard, can you please answer few questions. 1. LED or LCD (Friends have suggested LED. What's your opinion?) 2. Which brand and what model? 4. Size: 32' seemed ok, but if you suggest 40', will proceed per your suggestion. Last edited by Alex74874#5022 on Sep 5, 2017, 4:28:05 AM

" The most important question would be "What are you going to use them for?" - TV Entertainment - Gaming - Work aka Photoshop/Video editing - a bit of everything There is a big difference in terms of "how good" it is going to be depending on what you're going to use it for. If it's for Photoshop/video editing/Entertainment the focus in terms of specs is totally different compared to a pure gaming monitor. You said "TV" so i assume it's for Entertainment rather than gaming? Correct me if i'm wrong. 7777777777777777777777777777777777777777

Bigger is better, go for 40" for sure. Check out projectors if you have free wall for it. Its fantastic! Even there are costs for lamps.
Nevertheless why to buy so small TV is question here.. Be sure it is internet friendly and you are able to switch programs is miliseconds. Everything else you will find out when you see its picture. Buy more years of warranty too.. Last edited by Rexeos#3429 on Sep 5, 2017, 2:44:59 PM

Posting here as well to not clutter up the OT forums with multiple threads. I've been looking at upgrading my rig for a while, and have been doing a lot of research. Here's my close to finalized list -
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xYMnzM CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Mobo - MSI B350 Tomahawk RAM - GSkill Trident Z 16 GB ddr-3200 GPU - EVGA 1080 PSU - Seasonic Focus plus 550w Mobos I'm also having trouble settling on - MSI B350 Tomahawk, Asus' Prime X370-pro, Asus Prime B350? Any other recommendations? To get 3200mhz out of the ram, it looks like I would have to go into bios and mess with things? Never oc stuff in the past so this is new territory for me. EDIT - Very interested in the ASRock X370 Taichi board. Excellent reviews, costs $100 more but I do really like that black/white design, even though that never really should go into choosing specs! Anyone looking to build a new PC (soon), should just wait for Intel's new chips. They'll release before the end of the year, probably October or November. Which means you can wait until Black Friday for a better deal, as well. The I3 models will be 4 cores with no HT, the I5 models will be 6 cores, no HT, and the I7s will be 6 cores + HT.
So yes, for a budget PC, wait and get the new Intel quad core I3. I3s prior to this gen were 2 cores + HT, but The laptop CPU models are getting additional cores as well. So, ditto if you're looking for a new laptop. I've been saving up, gonna get the new I7 + 1080ti. Current PC is a 1080p peasant rig I5 2500k + R9 390. It barely runs PoE (not joking, PoE runs like shit on my PC). The new rig still probably won't run PoE @ 4k. I might need quad 1080tis for that shit (Chris Wilson's PC). PoE is so graphics.
