Why have I only just discovered Grim Dawn?
If you face severe mana issues, you'd like to get Mental Alacrity in the Arcanist skill tree, along with % energy skill reduction components like Arcane Lense and Focusing Prism. Mana regen components like Ectoplasm. Later you can drop them if needed. Also devotions with mana regen, also the Owl.
Gain faction rep fast there are juicy augments for casters. You need it anyway as faction vendors also sell gear. If you have equipped heavy armor, it provides much more armor, but no mana regen. Caster gear has it. This is a buff © 2016 The Experts ™ 2017 Last edited by torturo#7228 on May 15, 2017, 5:18:16 AM

" Yes I'm only at 25 points in arcanist atm, I might want to respec 12/12 IEE into Mental Alacrity. I also want to try taking Owl which has -5% energy skill costs and loads of elemental damage buffs, but due to the defense issues I decided to start filling Tower first. Initial Constellations Im planning on are Sailor's Guide + Tsunami (both already filled), tower, Owl and Crane. Respeccing them later on if needed is easy too. I shall be adding the crab to my plan.
Sailor's Guide (Optional but the defensive stuff and speed are nice. Could respec to Wraith or Eel) Tsunami (stronk offense) Solemn Watcher (stronk defense) Owl (currently here, all very useful perks for damage and more reflect reduction) Crane (nice resists and +15% damage) Crab (more damage and defense) Then I dont know, will have 20 more points left. Oooh, I could do Tempest after all that. You need to plan around the fat constellations, and the appropriate low lvl ones are just a juicy filler which provides the right colors needed.
At the moment you up your resists the Crane is points wasted, Sailor's Guide is basically a 5 blue points filler, Tsunami will become meh soon, Solemn Watcher won't up your naturally lower deenses much (as it would if you were +1k physique & focus on DA tank). Owl is ok, same for Crab. You need to focus. This is a buff © 2016 The Experts ™ 2017 Last edited by torturo#7228 on May 15, 2017, 12:11:55 PM

No you need the Lion, which is a point less and is actually useful.

" Nuuuuuu, Crane. Also Lion is 2 points less, I was thinking of it, but I choose crane. Well lion would be 1 point less if you also needed the crossroad cos its only +3 order, but I also got +2 order from Solemn Watcher atm. And nvm, I agree, the last two points in Crane arenmt that useful, will take Lion instead. Lion + the crossroad is 9% HP and 100 flat, total damage aside. HP in GD is as important as in PoE, especially for squishy classes.

Nice design and ideas for some items (like pants with something that previous owner left - and You can throw it on enemies and they get poidoned). But it gets boring after a while.
Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is far more entertaining. Last edited by de99ial#0161 on May 15, 2017, 1:31:45 PM
