Hello!

Sincerely,

I youre in Norway Jan-Erik, I hear good things about Multicom
I just purchased an ASUS ROG Gl502VT which has a 1070 built in. Microcenter had it on sale for $1300 and I LOVE it. I have to travel for work and it handled PoE like a champ while I play at the hotel. :)

Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
I've done a little research on the ASUS laptop, and as far as specs go it will still pass your requirements with flying colors. I've looked through the negative reviews on Amazon, and it seems they all relate to faulty hardware - which is a good sign, especially given Amazon's A+ return system.
To make it short: don't ask here, you will get much better support in a tech forum.

anandtech.com (https://forums.anandtech.com/ since I cannot reach the main site right now, are they down?)
https://hardwarerecs.stackexchange.com/

https://www.notebookcheck.net/

etc. etc.

Protip: If you are stationary you will get more bang for the buck if you buy a gaming PC or a gaming PC and an office notebook.

Notebooks have other drawbacks, one of the worse ones imo is that non premium/Business notebooks aka cheaper notebooks are often throw away products so maintenance is a bit of a pain.

Edit: Oh wow I just noticed how old the thread is. Derrrrp

My Razer Blade is working just fine. =)
i stumble upon a laptop thread almost everyday over tom's hardware. you might wanna check those out. knowing your budget would be nice, though Razer Blade and Pro, MSI GP72VRX Leopard Pro, Asus ROG Strix GL502, HP Omen 17 and Alienware 13 are definitely some decent options if your budget allows it.personally, you should be better off with a desktop owing to multiple reasons. amd's new system might hit by the end of this year. custom system is almost always preferable for gaming and with a desktop, you'll be able to save a bit more or at least spend the same amount and get better hardware
This site might help you understand the components you buy and how to fit things together. It is mainly for desktop builders, but has lots of good information.

Went with an Alienware 13 myself.

Required the smaller size, decent battery life, smaller price for work and I can hook it up to that external graphics w/e if I'm playing on a better than 1080p/60fps screen.
Thanks for all the advice and recommendations guys :) Appreciate it!
