Honestly, I think vengeance is really useless. I don't even notice when it procs, but I don't know what else I can put there at the moment. I thought about a warcry, maybe.

For my chaos golem, it is my choice to play really defensive. As I said, I'm a casual player and it's the first time I go so far in the atlas, so I prefer a defensive setup (That's why I also use enfeeble). Overall, I feel like phys damage reduction is nice for this build. I play with chaos golem since my lvling so I don't know how life is without it.

Today, I spent about 1 ex improving my stuff (rings, gloves, boots, belt), and 1 ex trying to 6L my starforge without success :'(
I bought a cheap 6L body armor with good life roll, it is a huge dmg buff but I dropped from 7k HP to 6,6k HP.

My new stuff : more HP, more resists, more dmg.


Lvl 85 now, I first timed Hydra with 1 death (100% my bad, I disrepected him) and tried to first time the Phoenix. I failed vs the Phoenix, probably underestimated the mods of the map and it took me 3 or 4 deaths to understand the pattern. At my last death, the Phoenix had less than 25% HP, so close from culling strike :'(

I also changed a little bit my CWDT setup with increased duration on immortal call and vaal haste. I really appreciate vaal haste vs boss. I'm not sure about vaal ancestral warchief dps, but it's funny and free !

My next improvements will be a 6L starforge or belly (so I can go back to 7k+ HP) and a lacerate enchant on devoto, but I'm too poor for this at the moment !

What do you mean by "totaly suck" ? Too squishy ? Not enough damage ? Did you complete your uber lab ? In which map tier you play ?

uer lab dont complet got ony 4 ascenancy points, map is burial chambers tier 3, my dps w/o buffs 11,415

I tried using herald of purity but in the end it wasn't really worth losing the 800+hp the blood magic tree gives

IMO the Cyclopean Coil REALLY helps in deep depth delves as the azurite enemies freeze you if your "of heat" flask runs out even for just a second

BTW as a tip once you get to monster lvl80 in delve, temporarily drop some damage nodes like Amplify to get Indomitable so we avoid a lot of OHKOs especially on biomes with "+300% crit chance +50% crit multiplier" mods

added a bunch of unique suggestions for the gear section, just to help out a bit more in direction.

I've got my hands on a 3R 3G Dex Chest that has "Supported by Level 1 Maim". What green support gem should I use instead of maim or should I try to get that dex chest to roll 4 red sockets?

the difference between level 1 and level 20 is about 15% more damage lost. that's pretty significant. use POB to calc your maximum dps links including the level 1.

Thanks! I didn't know PoB showed you the best support gems for your skills, that's pretty handy. I'm using Withering Touch now, which is more DPS than straight up using Level 20 Maim alone for me. At least until I either want to spend ~750ish chromes on it to be able to use Ruthless or just straight up buy a better chest.

Is Vaal Pact mandatory or it can be skipped?
