This impression

So i have this impression that there are only one or two desirable items in every class.

1. Belt? Headhunter.
2. Boots? Skyforth.
3.
4.
5.
etc.
Dunno all of them so share what You think on this?

There are plenty of builds that would gain nothing (and even be hurt by) skyforth. Just because it is rare/expensive doesn't mean it is BiS for everything.

Helmet: Fisherking's Crown
Body Armor: Fishing Vest
Gloves: Crab Grabbers
Boots: Krillson's Tidewalkers
Belt: Girdle of Bait and Lures
Ring1: Mermaid's Gift
Ring2: Anglerfish's Glowing Lure
Amulet: Breath of the Sea

Anything else is just sub-par.

If the meta revolves around ES and CRIT then of course skyforth will feel like the best item in the game.

It's GGG's fault for keeping life in the dirt for so long.

Define desirable in your case.

For me HH or/and Skyforth - given that if i have a build that would actually benefit from either of/both items - would be a very long term possible end-game build icing on the cake sort of thing.
Neither of them are build enablers in any way, they are extras that bring benefit to certain builds if you are lucky or wealthy enough.

I mean whatever is an upgrade for your character is essentially a desirable item.

And the items that you can build around really ain't that rare and in most cases won't cost even 1/70th of the price of the two items you mentioned, which as i said are extras, they ain't items you make a build around, especially HH.

I'd never use headhunter on any of my builds, but I'd gladly keep it in stash as a trophy of conquering rng, as I never will buy one, even though I can.



Also this belt is super awesome and nearly bis for my lvl93 phys melee char. That 50% flask charges gained is superb stat. And since I use esh amulet, it also gives me crit chance. Did I mention it is around 1 alch worth or less?

Don't play meta, don't need them. :-)

Desirable=all want to have them no matter if usefull or not.
