" The weird thing is, from everything I've read from GGG, primary defenses being useless is their INTENDED purpose-- they don't want primary defenses to actually work past leveling, they want you to have to jump through a bunch of different hoops for actual useful defenses via skills. Which is why we constantly have people running to a defense when it turns out to actually work (like ES now and Max block back when it was easy to stack up to max block and spell block before they nerfed it) and an endless cycle of GGG then slapping the defense down. |

" I can also answer you nice, I played almost everything and beat game in so many different ways so because I said skills need balance so we have proper PVP and game need hardens so we have proper PVE. One of my chars in this league was also summoner in this league and I don't know what you talk about, something is wrong with your build when your minions die so easy. I even made ground slamer to prove it works, even it has lowest multi of all melee skills, even it is AoE skill, even everyone who i knows said it is worthless. To understand melee is not my option in games, but I think I made it pretty well 141k dps on tooltip with 1alc 2h mace old good marohi, 6.5k hp, 7 endurance charges, with poison and bleed as option for extra dmg, and I like how it behave in breaches with beyond just melt everything like real butcher ,was rlly surprised because like I said I dont rlly like to play melee in games. They have to increase the difficulty of those common enemies, while toning down the maximum damage output for hits that aren't untankable damage if they are actually pursuing balance. Killing loot pinatas in a mindless grind of easier than normal "endgame" Shaped Strands/Plateaus/Gorges takes away from the level 100 achievement and gets it down to a be a simple grinding challenge. PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

So like said I dont need double dip for shaper and I will not cry when it will be removed, and after all if shaper is only end game content what Poe can offer, then PoE is dead. And yes I was talking about hardens for end game content not for that few T16 maps where are guardians and shaper, because we have T1-T15 content also and that content is just a big joke, mindless pinata grindfest. 1) Are you using dx11, most if not all improvements were on that front I believe.
2) My hopes is that 3.0 properly balances for AC classes and expects you to get points while progressing, rather then being an after thought that you do before maps. 3) HoG already doesn't do what people really paid for, they already can't accommodate all of the wings for the people that paid for characters to be in the map. If you want to do something else, I guess, but i doubt the devs are going to work on such a niche thing. A) In terms of pvp and skills, its really a second thought at this point and it kind of has to be. Hell even races are and those were pretty staple to the game. 4) Absolutely not to the ilevel restriction on currency, it should be reserved for items. Part of the thrill of the game was being able to find the rarest things even outside of maps, this must be preserved. In terms of chancing, that isn't how it works, chances historically (except a very small time frame) have always required ilevel. If need be they can just nerf skyforths, but the main issue is clearly the ES meta and the fact that there really isn't anything else worth chancing these days due to rarity of everything being "too common" 5) And people want these boss specific loots to be nerfed too. In terms of boss specific loot, its not really even that anymore, with div cards you can completely ignore the challenge and considering these boss fights have random rewards the div card route might be on average cheaper\easier. A) This was worst when diviners boxes could spawn outside of maps, I still feel they should be restricted to not be able to drop unique specific cards or 6 link ones. (for example no shavs card, but a body could drop) 6) Scroll of wisdom is one of the most important currency in the game, its the foundation that everything is built upon. A scroll on an item can decrease or increase the value of something, for example if its a unique with a random roll, if it hits low or something that can't be changed (like conversion vinktars when you want added lightning) then you "lose out" At least that is why items must be unid, plus you know recipes and stuff too. A) In terms of the RNG, maybe, but its a slippery slope to implement something like that I think. B) I hope the atlas is given some special treatment and the rewards are rebalanced in such a way so strand can be viable, but it won't be the most efficient or easy path, just the straightest (no pun intended) 7) Challenges are difficult to come up with, IMO its mainly a rotation of 15 generic do the stuff you would anyway, 15 do these side things and league specific things and 10 go out of your way and prove you've really played the league. Solo challenges can be cheesed, plus its an online ARPG, doesn't really fit IMO. 8) In terms of chat, I don't really have an issue with it, but I've never played eve. A) In terms of ingame browser, why bother? If they are just making some built in web browser, why not just use steam overlay instead? Or alt tab, like the rest of us. 9) Even d3 doesn't really offer any ui flexibility, you can hide the stuff for screen shots, but thats about it and they make WOW, one of the most customizable games out there in terms of UI. I do wonder if they would make the UI they previewed for the xbox possible on the PC. A) We do need improvements though, like buffs, debuffs and others need to be showcased better. If yes I would look forward to a video, and if not, non Crit damage has a larger gap than optimal versus Crit... No one is satisfied with the way they keep a lackluster map experience when you go post 95 towards 100. They should have addressed that not by placing an artificial EXP penalty wall, but by having the danger increase for all kinds of enemies, while toning down the damage spikes of all tankable hits, and making them grant EXP accordingly. Until they do that, we're having this situation where a linear map will forever be the pinnacle of map efficiency EXP/danger wise, but it shouldn't also feel that anything else becomes junk due to an intricate layout... " Let me be clear if you didn't understand, I stoped to play few days before, I become too bored and most of my friends already left, we all took a break and are hoping 3.0 will make difference to that PoE "end game" headless pinata. Original post was intended for those who are concerned if they read and do something good, if not also good, I wrote it in good intention, I put there what I notice and what had experienced. After all I leveled and perma played all my chars with devastated cpmbination of beyond and breach stones. Even soo soo soo scary T16 maps with 150% quantity, even crazy rolled Vaal Temple, even played uber Atziri posesed with torment spirit, so I think this game without my lucid rolls and crazy ideas are fckin to weak and need big rework. |
