how to deal with my mana issue?
I'm using glacial cascade, I can cast about 3 times before I run out of mana, if I spam my mana potion I can sustain enough to play but it is getting way to tedious. Aside from the mana leech gem, since i have no gem slots left, how can I restore mana with low mana as it is an no access to blood magic?

i mean... Mana Leech and Flasks are my preferred way of sustaining Mana while leveling. But you have some alternatives:
-get mana nodes -get mana regen on items -use Clarity of appropriate level -use Rallying Cry -Elreon's ring experiment with the above until you find something you like Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

>Can't use spells due to mana problems
>Pick a mana node >Problem is solved >wow The game has mana nodes for a reason. Really. They exist for a reason. They are all over the tree too Hail build Diversity, Death to the speed clear meta. Last edited by Quo210#5052 on Apr 10, 2017, 1:33:41 AM

" They are also a waste if mana issues can be solved other ways |

take a look at my build maybe it gives you some idea as im also using GC as main skill and i do not have that much mana issues. And you can always use clarity aura but i think better option is Assassins mark that will grant you mana on kill so as long as you are killing you can spam it. There is also this ring that helps a lot for leveling:
Usually pretty inexpensive too. Legacy SC IGN: Octora
Standard SC IGN: Octyte |

There is also warlords mark curse (can be applied as aura through blasphemy) that grants 2% life/mana leech.

" So is life for life builds and ES for ES builds.....why waste passives on them if they can be gotten other ways? Honestly, you have a mana issue and when given an answer with a solution, you strike it down with a counter that makes no sense. Now i will take a shot in the dark here and assume that you are new, because let's face it - solving mana issues, or making them just vanish like a fart in the wind is not exactly an extraordinary achievement, and is common knowledge for anyone who has played for a while. Take passives for leveling for leech, raw mana or/an mana regen, you can drop them later on if you need. Get the above linked unique ring and some elreon's jewelery they all are within alch/single chaos range unless you are looking for top rolls on either with best possible base for elreon's. Run clarity. If all of the above seem like a waste to you, and not worth the bother, there is always Blizzard with it's hello kitty diablo adventures. Or you could just listen to what people tell you as to how to get your self out of this mana pickle, and be grateful because in most game forums you'd be called a noob, told to l2p only to end up with a locked topic. No rest for the wicked.

" How are they a waste? It's not like you're stuck with them forever. Respecs exist, either through the books you get from the campaign or from Orbs of Regret. If you're having an issue, and something solves that issue until other things can be attained to solve them instead. How is it a waste? But anyway... Sacrificing offensive gem slots for Mana Leech/Mana Reduction (As well as using gems with lower mana modifiers) Getting Mana and Mana Regen nodes, as well as Jewels that give mana (Act 2 has a side quest on Normal/Cruel for mana regen jewels. 3 mana per second from Normal and 10% regen on Cruel. Merc instead has ability cost reduction and reduced mana reservation) Using gear that has Mana and Mana regen on. Swapping gems to utilize a Cast While Channelling set up (You only pay the mana for the channelled spell. Which will have 2 less links boosting the mana cost) Utilizing skills like Clarity, Enduring Cry, Warlord's Mark, Poacher's Mark or Assassin's Mark that help regain mana. Are all effective for assisting with mana issues. At least until later levels when you'll generally have enough mana and int to sustain most things without much issue. |
