I agree, a bad localization can ruin an otherwise good game (same goes for any kind of movie).
Doubtless, more languages would help making the community become bigger, but I can very well relate to what Krolli says. For example in Diablo II it sucked and somehow felt strange to read the name of an item in German. But anyway I see the benefits of multilanguage support and if you guys are planning to do other languages, I would gladly help localize to German and/or Chinese. |

For me there is no point in translating it into other languages. It's rather dark bloody game and I think that it was created for, let's say, "older" players, who played other MMOs earlier, not for young kids who can't write anything in the world's most common language.
As it was earlier said, translation will definetly kill that game. But it is only my opinion. -----------------------------------

why not a fan-traslation sofware ?? ( mod or any )

the best for me.... audio english / subtitles -spanish/english etc......
for example on GW2 wiht right control change "on flight" between spanish / english Wise words buff -> balance <- nerf , need to happen , deal with it

imho it should be done only for texts , traslating audio too may sound stupid (i'm Italian and a game like that with chars talking in italian would be horrible xD).
Anyway i know english fairly well so i would for sure go into this project. Furthermore many people of my country don't know english really well (i guess becouse it's not taught well) so an italian version would at least put into the game ~1000 people more. I suggest to translate every text exept item names [or at least unique items] it may sound weird but not traslating them will lead to less confusion when that item has to be sold. Anyway if you want an italian version of that game send me a pm ^_^ |

Problem with new languages and localizations, comes with the question of, "Should they be on a separate league or realm?".
