Languages

we have huge russia community
Although there is no doubt that learning englisch ist very desirable, if there is a possibilty to translate the game into different languages, why not? It could be a kind of community, fan-based work.
Helps to enhance the community.

The only problem I see with multilanguage versions in a hack'n slay, item-collecting focused game ist the lack of interoperability in terms of item-names, skill-names, effects, etc if it comes to trading and comparison.
This can lead to a language base split-up of communities which is not desirabel at all.

Id rather take the english version and do not see the game delayed for a year.
Dear guy askin,
Well, i know you asked because u were curious, but it's kinda importatnt thing - if GrindingGuyz bring some other languages to the game.
Some of them may destroy game (it depends on quality of translation, as I said earlier), but i think some people will demand their languages in game.
IMHO it would be good for game, if there were mor languages, just in case - some of players might have problems with learning languages or just sleeping at school ;)
I know a goy, who buys every game or movie in polish (if only available) not because he can't speak english, but stuff like that in foreign language sounds weird for him. And just like that, Grinding Gears might lost some of users, which maybe would be better for us (players), but not for them.
Even if those versions will be shit, You can always pich english, right?

You got that right. Just release the game already, translation can be made later ;)

please give us a old high german translation ^_^
I can speak only for myself, but I think it isn't really nessesarry to translate the game in other laguages than english. In Germany the kids learn english in the 4 th class. And I think it looks the same in other countrys.

Yeah maybe my english isn't perfekt, but it good enough to play games. Also in the early years of gameing there are many games which are only released only in english. So many english word find the way to the german online/internet/IT laguage like nerd, looser, skill, headshot, brb, ...

And today in germany we play games like GemCraft or Plants VS Zombies in the english version. I played for example Portal 2 in the english version becouse the german translation su*****.

The only reason to translate a game is to reach more persons.
Thanks for my key donator aliamsiker.
Korean please!
from new games mythos was in first translated to polish from standard english/german :) also drakensang online was translated to polish :)

but 4all diablo 2 polish translation was awesome! also baldurs gate was nice to heard :)
duelist Bartosz 37 lvl
only spanish :D
i would be fine with english version only as i prefer it anyways but german and other language support would be nice for those who dont understand english that well, but still i guess even they should understand enough to play the game...not like this would be some kind of ultra lore driven game although i like storys for classes, areas, monsters etc. on this page :D
