Are there any plans of translating the finished game, into diffrent languages besides english?


PS.: dunno if this allready existed in the forums, used things like "language" and "localisation" on search :D

PPS.: I'm talking about the >>finished<< game!

Hai Bailong, I dont know where you from but i see you understand and write english very well.
English is the world language,
everybody most know english, dont get me wrong, i am from the netherlands and we learn english on pre-school.
Children at the age of 10 already learn english. Dont waist time to translate the game into another language, learn english.

dominant languages on internet but not in games :) I think that better idea will be making an german, spanish, french, polish and russian language versions :)

Eng is the only one needed it is a word lang and if boys from polan or germany cant speak that it is time to learn ;) hehe

Agreed ;P You have no idea how many "polacks" play MMO games, without us serwers would be empty and items 120 times cheaper! ;P
But, ther is another side. I started to play League of Legends recently, They have polish client and compared to english one, it looks/sounds so... dumb.

My point is, it depends on quality of translation because polish language in games mostly destroys it's mood(right word? i dunno, my english is kinda poor) and want me to get english one.

I'd like to see this game in Italian. It would be funny as hell (no pun intended, I love this language, but Italian accent in post-apocalyptic, dark game like PoE would give me a wide smile)

But seriously, I think, if you really want to do game translations, german, polish, french, russian and spanish or portugeese are necessary.

And that makes me wonder, if there WILL be more than one language in game.
Gosh, now you made me curious about this game even more (aka I WANT TO PLAY NOW!)

English is the most spoken language in the world, yes. The only reason why I asked is, because not everyone over ... let’s say … 35 had English in school. Easy example, If I would like to play with my father I could only do this if there would be a German version.
