[2.6] Monkey Baron's Dominating syrnegies (In Progress)

I really like the music on your last vid. How fitting, lol. :)
But still the main issue remains and could be seen in the vid. The mix of life and ES only works well when you have good chaos protection, either by wearing a shavs, having high resist or immunity. You could see how life is dropping to 1k and ES is nearly full, you probably not even see it coming when you die since the full ES bar is blocking your sight. :) Beside that i think damage output and tankyness is 7.5/10. For build creativity though i would give you a 10/10. :) |

I'm actually going to take this build for a spin as a 1200+ STR build without the MoM/ES hybrid shenanigans and going for a 6-link zombie setup + 6-link Dominating Blow setup with the latter linked to Blood Magic to deal with the high mana cost (life regen + zombie life leech from The Baron should sustain it).
Although, little bit worried about how my zombies will fare in higher level content without a Mon'tregul's for the extra HP buffer~ Overall, definitely looking forward to trying this build concept out! |

" With all the changes coming to minions with 3.0, i am sure zombies will be tankier and more helpful in high level maps. This build can only get better. |

"Minions change yes, but dont get your hopes too high for Dominating blow GGG are good to dodge the buff on Dom blow and go full tackle on the nerfs ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

I've been experimenting with a claw-based Dominating Blow + Baron-buffed Zombie build using The Scourge. Still a work in progress, but I've tried both a life-based version and ES-based version.
Life version: Slightly easier to gear up and hit the 1000 strength threshold. Mana was an ongoing issue - I ended up using socket 6 for a Reduced Mana gem. Didn't have nearly as large a life pool as I expected (around 4200-ish). With few other defences apart from the minions, felt fragile. ES: I don't have 5 or 6 socket Geoffri's to compare damage on a like-for-like basis yet. ES pool is fine (just under 8k, with a batch of ES nodes still to grab). Larger mana pool meant that with a 4 socket Dominating Blow (60 mana), cost was acceptable (although swinging at air drains the mana pool quickly). Carrying a mana potion was invaluable. Used both Ghost Reaver and Vaal Pact, and got leech from the Shadow claw wheel. Resistances were major, major issues - had to run Purity of Elements (plus the Commander of Darkness bonus) to hit 75%, which meant no Hatred. I've been using Flesh Offering rather than Spirit Offering, but I'm intrigued which might be better now. Felt like I had to stretch a bit to get to 1000 strength - although with life leech from other sources, getting leach from the zombies might not be as crucial? On the life version I could run Blood Rage for Frenzy charges, plus Hatred. I also tried Necromantic Aegis with the Victario's Charity shield. If you can make the numbers work, this is tons of fun. With charges, your minions can get up 45% attack speed and 600% crit chance. One other thing to note in your build optimisation: If you put an Efficient Training jewel in the socket between Mind Over Matter and Elemental Equilibirium, Occultist's Dominion becomes a 20 strength node. The skills are definitely a fun combination, but I don't think I've achieved the perfect build yet. |

Why bother finding a Mirror of Kalandra if it can be [Removed by Support]
Killing the Elder or Shaper while following someone's build is like finding a street using google maps - such an achievement! |
