Using Cheat Engine on other applications

Cheat Engine's injection shouldn't be too hard to figure out I guess, so is it safe to use it on other applications while running PoE?

What could you possibly do to PoE with CE? All relevant data is stored and processed on server anyway.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
