Baron 1k str + GR gives HP leech still.

Baron 1k str gives HP leech even if you have Ghost Reaver - Ghost Reaver doesn't say that it is you exclusively that needs to provide the leech. Bug?

EDIT: Mic is terrible, but you can see what's going on. Shadowplay decided to use the mic on my Vive lying far away. So "Leeched to you as life" excludes life leech and thus makes The Baron + GR not work then?

The life leech works, it just doesn't get converted to ES leech by Ghost Reaver.

I know it works. I just can't find any clear answer on why it does not convert. That is why I asked if this exact wording, the same as on Hinekora for Chieftain, is not considered "Life Leech".

I'm afraid that answering exactly why it doesn't work would require insight into the coding of the modifier, which we don't have and GGG is unlikely to provide.

If the problem is in coding they could at least admit it, but they just keep silence. If the reason is some insane ggg logic then they should explain it once and for all.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

It is a known fact about game mechanics (well, apparently not for every "old player", because i still see them questioning it) and was stated\posted many times already:
" Have any other concerns? E-MAIL GGG with your claims. TL;DR Zombies don't have YOUR GR keystone passive from YOUR skill tree. Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it. Happiness requires effort. |

I always just read the "life leech" part as life leech as a whole, not life leech exclusively as a stat. Since it seems like GR refers to life leech as a spesific stat, it seems reasonable that it won't work with "leeched to you as life".
It would clarify quite a bit by adding a "Your" at the start of the keystone text. It is hard to differ both The Baron's and Chieftain's Hinekora "Leeched to you as life" with "Life leech" since both concepts are a life leech. |
