Is poe getting worse?

Stop comparing D3 with PoE.

To make bank, D3 had to do exactly one thing: Have good advertisment.

People then buy the game for 50 bucks, and if they play or not down the road matters fuck all to blizzard. This holds true for the DLC as well.

For PoE, making money is more complicated. They need to have good advertisment, so players actually get to know about the game. They then need to have good enough content so players actually stay long enough so that they start spending money.

With this, you can objectively say that PoE has good enough player retention so that GGG can constantly keep expanding.

So to answer your question? PoE is objectively good enough so players play it and have fun, and not good enough for projectPT. Make of that what you will.

Most importantly though, you should need to ask yourself that question, not ask others if you should have a certain opinion, or let others tell you that you should have a certain opinion. Critical thinking is incredibly important down the road, you dont want to stay a puppet your entire life, do you?

Dude, then something´s wrong with your laptop.
I´m playing on a 5 year old i7 laptop with 8 GB Ram and a GTX670m and I have around 45 fps in town and an average of 30 fps with all my minions ingame. Big battles of course drag the fps down a lot.
I play on 1920x1080, high texture qual. low shadows, AA trilinear (you won´t notice that on a 17" screen anyway).

Been here since open beta.

Overall performance - better.
Minute to minute performance - still shit. I swear there are just blocks of the day where I get constant lag spikes.
Accessibility - better. I've made it farther in the last year playing PoE than I have the previous years.
Variety - Better. I have way more micro-rewards that keep me playing versus a couple years ago when for standard players it was still mostly just about gear drops.
Meta - shittier. I fucking hate the fact they believe their game is "meant to be played while watching Netflix." That to me translates as "a game so easy you don't have to pay attention, now give me some MTX money so you don't look like shit." It's a far cry from what they said PoE was supposed to be about when it started. The speed meta is cancer but if they're the ones paying out the most for MTX's....And yet Malachai Merciless is still a fight designed to just punish the fuck out of you for no reason, like they still have delusions that the rest of the game is that hard.

Anyways, people I've struggled to get into PoE are finally starting to appreciate it because it's not a total ball crushing experience anymore. But for someone who has been here from right around the beginning, it's not hard to see where the game has long started catering to a different kind of player.

Seriously though, the next time a dev decides to talk about playing the game and watching a movie at the same time.....just shut your mouth. It's like talking about liking good wine then pointing to White Zinfindel in a box as your example.

Having played all the way back in beta, the game has absolutely improved in just about every aspect. A case could be argued that the difficulty and challenge has gone down, but personally I'm glad to trade a little bit of difficulty for the immense performance and quality of life improvements that have been made.

And even though the game has become "easier", still only a small percentage of players make it through maps. I still find that to be an astounding statistic given how easy it is to reach 70 in a day and start mapping.
