Heyho, first of all, thanks for creating this superb Guide and providing the build.
I am currently having tons of fun using it in Incursion HC. Just want to showcase my current Gear, i am easily able to alternate between farming Uber Lab and mapping.



Should i aim for the CDR Belt next? Or any suggestions as to where i can improve the most?

And I started playing with the inquisitor. Honestly, it's not bad. Mjolnira I use from 61 lvl, together with romira and inya. I do not have currency on Voll Devotion.
I have made light changes in the tree in order to have leech, we use warlord mark on blasphemy. I am worried that there will be no resists.
Currently, I only did a normal lab at 2:30 am and I generally did not want to.
Unfortunately, on this lvl you must keep onslaught and Movement speed potion differently this cyclone is very slow. I haven't leveled englighten 3 so it's very problematic for me, becouse i can only use aura + curse

Warlord mark is good too, but without Vaal Pacta it's not the same

Use Discharge with Arc and life leech with Inquisitor untill volls devo and kingsguard combo.

Thoughts on the corruption? Lv23 gives 1% more max res, but cannot be linked with enlighten



This enchant seems to allow me to maintain EO without blade vortex, not sure if it's better than the penetration enchant.

Sooo... I've played a bit with Discharge and Arc and conducted some basic DPS checks and clear speed checks.

As far as clear speed goes Arc is a better option now than any second support to Discharge hands down.

Now in terms of Boss dps... I dunno but it seems that Arc + Discharge combo is slightly better than Discharge + 2x support combo... First some math, than some ingame footage and conclusion.


This is Discharge tooltip damage per use (DPU) stats with 2x Support (lvl 21 Discharge with 20/20 Ele Focus, 20/20 Conc Eff with my gear and jewels, no flasks, no RF):




Now this is Discharge tooltip DPU with just one support (same gear, gems, jewels, no flasks, no RF, just dropped Conc Effect):




Now this is lvl 20 Arc tooltip DPU with Ele Focus supporting both Arc and Discharge (again no flasks, no RF):




Now the math... lets calculate possible peak DPS vs T16 Guardian using both setups without RF up and no flasks active:

lvl 21 Discharge with 2x support (20/20 Ele Focus + 20/20 Conc Effect):

DPU: 56174
Discharges per sec: 5
Boss resistance: 40% (Boss resistance) - 50% (Elemental Eq) - 9% (20/20 Ele Weakness) = -19%
Net resistance mod: 1.19
DPS: 56174 * 5 * 1.19 = 334k peak DPS

Same stuff with lvl 20 Arc + lvl 21 Discharge with 20/20 Ele Focus:

Arc DPU: 7214
Arc MORE bonus via chain: 120%
Final Arc DPU: 7214 * 2.2 = 15870
Discharge DPU: 35883
Boss resistance: 40% (Boss resistance) - 50% (Elemental Eq) - 9% (20/20 Ele Weakness) = -19%
Net resistance mod: 1.19
Final combined DPS: 15870 * 5 * 1.19 (Arc Part) + 35883 * 5 * 1.19 (Discharge part) = 308k

334k vs 308k with lvl 20 Arc - this is not bad for Arc indeed. And lvl 21 Arc might just close the gap completely.

However we are still talking "peak DPS" so max charges, Elemental Overload active etc. with just no flasks and no RF. And peak DPS barely happens in-game as charges avaliable for each Discharge varies. So lets talk average DPS and why Arc is sligthly better now:

What is happening is that Arc is generating additional power charge for future Discharge most of the time (when it doesnt crit and its crit chance is rather low). More than that via Inyas Boots this is yet another event with 25% chance to generate max power charges instead. Now I know this is not rocket since and to be 100% sure which setup is better for single target (for clear speed we allready know...) best would be T16 Minotaur stable facetank vid. However if theres no mistake in my vids than that 3sec kill time difference regarding regular boss might turn out to be 12 sec difference in T16 Guardian/Shaper kill time as those guys have 4 times that HP pool. And this is something to consider.

So TL;DR for some of us casual players that don't do math is that Discharge + Arc > Discharge + 2 supports in terms of boss clear speed, correct? That is something to consider.

Quick questions~

-The Arcane Surge setup still works? I recall several leagues ago where the setup wasn't working properly or something to that effect. If it still works, then I suppose I can get into it as well. I'm fairly certain its not necessary, so there's that to consider.

-Which support would be better to use? Ele Focus or Conc?

-Does Mjolnir proc Vaal Arc? If so, would there be any benefit to leveling Vaal Arc versus a normal Arc? I'm still unsure if vaal gems can even get to level 21 or more than 20 quality on them.

Mjolner will not proc Vaal Arc. Vaal skills cannot be triggered.

I'm trying to find a good Vaal skill to use with this build, and can't decide on anything solid yet.
- Vaal Cyclone is good because it pulls enemies in and cannot be evaded, but a strength of the build is being very mobile and you lose that with Vaal Cyclone. I am not sure that gaining 100% accuracy for 5 seconds is worth it.
- Vaal Double Strike could generate some quality single target dps, but to do so would require at least a 4 link, which I do not see giving up. Also, cannot trigger spells in Mjolner.
- Vaal Arc would only work when self-cast, though it would allow Arc to have lucky damage for a short time afterwards as well.
- Vaal Impurity of Fire/Lightning seem like a good idea up front, but ignoring enemy resists is actually bad if you have Ele Weakness and Ele Equilib dropping them into the negatives.

Thoughts?

Each trigger event is done by cyclone hit which resets enemy resistances to a desired -50% on both fire/ligh. The only downside is that mobs outside of cyclone AoE will get hit with an arc and will recieve +25% to light ress. But at the same time arc itself is dmging them.

@MisterTails yes arcane surge works on switch as shown in my vids.

Rico, what can be used instead of RF combination? I didnt use RF in a last race and Im pretty much sure what I will not miss it this time. What about arcana surge? Do we really need it? Thank you!
