Build highlights:
---------------------

+ cannot be frozen
+ cannot be stunned
+ cannot be inflicted with bleeding
+ excelent clear speed (around 15k Arc)
+ very good Boss kill speed (most red map bosses under 8s)
+ 85/79/85 max resitances unflasked
+ 91/85/91 flasked
+ ~30% physical dmg reduction unflasked
+ ~50% physical dmg reduction flasked
+ Fortify
+ Ignoring enemy resitances 40% of the time
+ one Blasphemy setup
+ Surgeon's flasks and doing crit
+ 208 life regeneration (400+ when on Consecrated Ground) with 20% chaos resistance to help with countering the DoTs

This is bare minimum. NOTE: 5l Kingsguard will do, just drop Additional Accuracy. With the setup above you must invest in +1 endurance charge belt or for maximum benefit you should also grab a pair of those:



Tons of strength, all ress, ES, armor, +1 endu charge, 30% movement speed and very powerfull bleed immunity. All that we need.


IMPORTANT!: You must include at least one +2 mana gained jevel to sustain skill usage. Just dont leap like crazy and you'll be fine with just one.

You can also use Vinktars for dmg and leech buff. But its absolutely not needed.



How this build works:
---------------------------

Outside of standard Mjolner combo for generating and using charges (Romira's -> Mjolner -> Volls Devo) build utilizes some advance defence mechanics.

First of all we have very high max resistances. Than we cannot be frozen, stunned, inflicted with bleeding. Than we have decent physical mitigation due to having around 2.5k armor base, endurance charges, Fortify, Arctic Armor, Enfeeble and Bazalt flask.

Than we utilize high life regeneration (around 200+ per sec and more than 400+ per sec when on Consecrated Ground)) and 20% chaos resistance from tree to counter the DoTs. This is to support standard healing mechanics via Kingsguard.


From offensive point of view we have large ammount of spell/elemental dmg increase from tree and our items that is than scaled via 48% from support gem Elemental Focus, crits, Augury of Penitence and most importantly via Inevitable Judgement.

In total this provides excelent dmg output and good survivability.

Build might be further optimized. Im especially looking forward to some constructive player's feedback in the thread.

Hey Rico, which mjolner build would you say is best overall for 2.6? And are any of them Uber atziri viable? Thanks for the great builds
So far I like Berserker version a bit more. Both are pretty capable but that extra 2k EHP makes a difference vs very hard content.

Basically Inquisitor:

+ much better life sustain via crazy regen so better vs chaos dmg, DoTs
+ slightly higher DPS, especially noticable on +resistances maps
+ a bit more "familiar" to play
- not able to tank really big hits


Berserker EB/MoM:

+ much higher EHP, able to do most difficult maps and bosses
+ better mobility due to the +25% movement speed temporaly bonus
+ able to tank big hits
- slightly worse vs chaos dmg and DoTs
- slightly less DPS


Basically Berserker is a safer option right now. In terms of DPS Inquisitor with Enfeeble on has same DPS as Berserker version with Ele Weakness on.

I was able to facetank T13 Sulphur bosses with double extra dmg (109% extra as fire and 102% extra as cold) as a Berserker version where Inquisitor failed to do so. More than that I was almost able to facetank Torment Spirit possesed T16 Minotaur on ele weakness with Berserker (facetanked to like 60% of his health before first rip) where Inquisitor failed to facetank in this scenario for more than 5 seconds.

hey really wanna do this build in HC. so what class would you say ? the zerker b/c of better hp or just go templar :)

I've been playing a mjolner Inquisitor since ascendancy. Nice to see the build appreciated :P
My build is a bit different (made after many hours of min-maxing). I think this is a very good class for mjolner.
The 2.6 buff slightly helps though sadly it's still nothing like its former glory days. (would help if GGG buffed Kingsguard too).

Yeah. Either 6 casts / s or Kingsguard buff. Supporting life recovery via Kingsguard is now the main issue as it alone is not enough. This is where life regen and Sanctify helps a ton.

I pretty much min-maxed my Berserker EB/MoM so I'll now get to some optimization with this one here.
