" I actually started my build with xoph's blood. It's a good choice also, unless you're double cursing flammability and elemental weakness. The fire pen on it won't do as much damage as 70% inc fire damage tho, but it's still alot. The ash thing doesn't work too well cuz we don't get hit that much and it only lasts for a couple of seconds. But even if it's a couple of seconds it does double dip and it's alot of damage. " Hello again welcome back :D Those 4 nodes do damage. Remember, only 1 instance of burning can be active at one time and the one with the highest damage dictates. So the more often you can burn them, the more chances that you'll get higher burning instances in. Chance to burn, burning duration, accuracy, and attack speed all matter. I just can't quantify them. What skill gems use when go on bosses cause i see u gem setup not same in u videos

conc effect, minion and totem elemental resist, weapon elemental damage, fire pen, and rapid decay.
For ignite immune bosses use conc effect, elemental focus, weapon elemental damage, fire pen, and faster attacks and i keep my mana up with doedre's when clearing packs, and nothing for bosses (hydra and Shaper might be a problem). For Shaper maybe use clarity cuz you're gonna manually curse anyways. have you considered this build as berserker ? or even elementalist for that free prolif ? could you share you thoughts on those 2 ( especially berseker as that 40% more is insane for this build, and that warcry for insta life and mana is pretty sick as well )

idk if this threat is still alife but as i did loot oro's i lvlup this char to 80 fallowing your build now that i'm 80, i dont realy know what to think about, should i investing 10-15ex to get the 6L Oro/Kaom/opalrings/the jewels or should i respec into a classic phys build.... there are multiple fails on your ignite dmg calc, so let's amke some calcs the ignite scales from the initial hit so as your main hit hits for 50k your ignite will deal 50 000 x0.2 => 10 000 for intial duration of 4 sec = 2 500 dps now according to all the passifs from the your tree + 35% kaom's + 60 % ngamahu tiki + 2x20% opal rings, we have a total of 578% we have to add the gems + overload => 258% and the multiplier from ascendacy 1.16 the ignite duration is incrased by 10% from the tree and reduce by 35% by the belt => (4 sec x1.1) / 1.35 => 3sec26 so your ignite according a 50k main hit => 50k x 0.2 x 5.78 x 2.58 x 1.16 = 172 982 dmg from ignite let's say it's dealt on 3sec it's barrely 60k dps all in all it's a 10-15ex cost build for 120k dps :x assuming i did something wrong in my calculations i did put this build into the path of building with a setup of the weapon + all the gear that upgrade the dps overall, i did not put any jewels and apply flammability into a fight vs a non shaper/guaridan boss the result with 75% accuracy is 45.3 k dps totem hit and 217k ignite => 260k dps pastebin for the setup and numbers : https://pastebin.com/qFLBpK6T so yeah probably for some ppl spending 15 ex for 250k dps is cheap for me it's not, sry mate but i belive your build is realy inefficient for me there are 2 ways to play for this 15ex cost : if u want to play with oro's u go for a berserker build and grind up to 5M dps if u want to play with totems u go for tukohama+facebreakers and grind up 1M dps per totem your way to play is kinda weird... nothing personnal cheers Last edited by Cråck on Jun 20, 2017, 1:04:49 AM

Yea, the build is still safe for this league but I'd just been busy sry.
You better double check your calculations because you're putting duration in the equation which shouldn't be there. You don't understand the assumptions and how the build works. The duration doesn't matter (much) when you got 2 totems slamming at one boss (it matters when you consider that there's a range of values that the sword hits for, which is probably not worth calculating). Second, you can't kill Shaper with 120 dps. If you could it would look really messy. Here's a code for Build of Exile I saved a while ago, says 1.5 million ignite DPS without flasks or lightning trap. I can't do a new one because I respeced my character. I don't know if they caluclated correctly so I don't make that claim, but I'm 100% sure it's above 600k without considering curses or flasks or lightning traps. A good way to compare DPS in my opinion is to time and compare Shaper phase 1 fights from a build's video because he's very tanky and he always does the same things in phase 1. You can compare mine to other people's and check what they claim their dps is. If it looks like 600k dps, and quacks like 600 dps, it's 600 dps :D. I'm not sure what 5 million dps berserker you're talking about but if it's one of those life based vaal pact builds you better be ready to die. I'm not sure about facebreaker builds being less than 15ex either i think you need high phy damage jewelry to make up for the damage from weapons and they're kinda expensive. They do more dps but their totems can't tank, and their map clearing speed might be pretty bad because of the unarmed range. In the end they play differently enough that you can think of them as being different builds, maybe. No worries I'm not offended at all thanks for your concern!

" Not a good idea because the Berserker utilizes attack speed. There's 16% increased fire damage taken from our passive tree so that makes up a bit for that 40% you would otherwise have if you were a Berserker (it's damage 'taken' so it's equivalent to more damage). I don't know about Elementalist But I don't think you should think about that prolif as being free. Anyways the build won't work for next league so no need to think about this now but thx for inquiring :D. (I just made a frost blades Elementalist with dual Doryanis and no Skyforths with a Berserker, that leech is wonderful :D. I made a vid on a 6.5 min Shaper run if you wanna check it out.
