Good Raider starter build?
" Bows are ok, but Opus will be insanely expensive...unless I will get something really really good shouldn't it be really bad experience even in Yellow maps for me? Same for Spectral Throw and Blade Flurry...the latter will still wreck everything with Chaos variation but still :) IT's really hard man, I need some really good guide or something on this one. " ? |

" No not really. I always play bow builds and it easy to make a budget work. I mean solid clear speed in all map tiers is really not a hard thing to do with beginner gear. Chin Sol is a fantastic league starter bow. Lioneye's is also solid if you can survive reflect. A rare bow is also fine. Bow is easy to start. Same thing with ST / bladeflurry. Oh this goes for builds scaling off elemental flat damage as well. Buy a Storm Cloud / The tempest / Voltaxic / Windripper / Nuro's Harp. All are fairly cheap to come and will easily carry you through the first week of a league. I believe you are overthinking this. Last edited by Frankenberry#0590 on Mar 3, 2017, 8:10:14 AM

" Nope^^ " I mean I want to go into maps first day and I doubt I will have a lot of currencie to aquire Chin Sol or Lioneye's Watch (IF I am not mistaken they are really expensive first days of the Leeage). :( " Yeah dude you sure have no bias towards bows :3 Can recommend some starter Raider build? :P |

" They aren't really but if you feel it's too much just get a rare bow for the first few days. Really... =) It's not hard to scale enough damage. Especially as elemental dmg (those new nodes near arrow dancer are superb). |

I'm going elemental bow raider. Probably going to transition into voltaxic or prism.

Elemental bow, wander, or spectral throw should all be cheap and easy to start mapping. You can easily do t1-t9ish maps with vendor trash weapons.

im going to be playing SSF so i want to be open to a number of different paths just in case gear drops change and that changes which skill/weapons i am going to use.
so i am 100% sure going raider, and i'll be building around projectile and attack damage. this will allow me to use bows or melee weapons. for bows im open to all of the skill options but SSF is about clear speed so i'll mostly look towards lightning arrow and ice shot. if i get good melee weapons i'll be looking to use spectral throw, molten strike, something with projectiles. im going to do my best to not spec into anything worded as bow damage or one handed attack damage, that sort of thing. that way i can stay clear of pigeon holding my options. once i get up in levels i can see what kind of gear i have and more what i want to specialize in at that point then fill in the damage passives as i need them |
