Where is my meteor/chain lightning/apocalypse spells?!
Hehe, but seriously, where are those?
Just rename them a bit to avoid copyright issues... those were the most brilliant things in diablo for spellcasters. God, i remember how those who used such spells were ballers. I never roll spellcasters in this game because most of them feel so bland... Like tiny/discrete mage spells that for some reason do a lot of damage, except for discharge, discharge is really cool. Buff life on the right side of the tree! Just a little! Pretty Please! Last edited by The_Risen#6326 on Mar 1, 2017, 11:29:02 AM Last bumped on Mar 1, 2017, 2:19:33 PM

Dunno, Arc feels better than any Diablo version to me and we probably can't have Meteor because Storm call is pretty much the same skill, though we got a glove enchant so maybe one day as an item skill like Blizzard. Which version of Apocalypse did you mean?

" arc..... really. sorry but its the lamest spell, well one of the lamest (looking at u flame surge) OP: I'm with you, sadly, I miss some good skill too. like cold meteor shower (something like rainblast but a spell and dealing cold) cold ray (blue scorching ray or incinerate - I would prefer latter) blizzard and many many other cool caster skills that one can find in many games, not only in diablo 3 YES I support the game, NO I don't agree with many GGG decisions Lab still sucks balls. I miss Zana already. Last edited by Miazga#7204 on Mar 1, 2017, 12:30:10 PM

" I always thought it looks pretty sweet. Some of my favorite duds are Magma Orb (don't like both the sound and visuals), Fireball (not enough impact, Diablo1 fireball felt more meaty than any version of fireball in Diablo or PoE), Tendrils (visuals), Flame surge (sound) and Wild strke has such an irritating sound effect for the Fire AoE I can't even use the skill for any longer period of time without turning the sound off. Made a compliant in audio section about that one. I can certainly see where OP is coming from. I feel that, graphically, there's something about Firestorm in particular which is underwhelming. I've purchased the Siege Firestorm Effect and it's certainly an improvement; the individual projectiles look more distinct from the trail behind them, the individual projectiles look bigger (though this might be my mind playing tricks on me), and the way the metal hits the ground and breaks open just makes it feel more meaty. It adds a bit of oomph. The default appearance of the skill, imo, is inert and bland.
Of course, the Siege Firestorm Effect has a poor reputation among those who care about their FPS, so it could be that the default visual effects are designed to be potato-friendly and GGG feel more freedom to make cool (but demanding) effects when they're creating something optional. If that's the case then it's a bit disappointing, but perhaps the best of both worlds. "VPs are not required to change their posting style.
