lol

you sure about that?
You have to be realistic about these things.

Not what I said. I'll start replying in earnest when you do.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

About what? Males being less emotionally fragile? Yes, sure.

Ok, 15, big difference. You wouldnt let your 15 yo daughter in the hands of a pervert or messed up guy, because that is all a grown up man searching for sex with teens can be.

I remember when I was 15.... omg if the father of my GF of that time only knew half the things she did do me.

Let's ignore your psychological assessment of such men, for the moment anyway.

Assuming that I respect a young lady to be responsible and self-sufficient, who am I to forbid — not criticize, not advise against, but forbid — her from pursue a sexual relationship with a pervert? If this is what she wants, why should I have authority to prevent it in a manner which allows no argument, no reasoning?

Assuming I do have said respect, what does age matter?

You said it's a father's job. That's only true of a ward insurable incapable of self-sufficiency and thus dependent upon the guardian. When the fledgling is strong enough, it is the parent's job no longer.

Parent's. Not father's.

Which brings us to the next point: we now see that the core of your justification is patriarchal sexism (funny words for me to use unironically). You have no problem saying young women are more emotionally fragile than young men. As such, you find excuses to keep them under fatherly protection to compensate for this perceived weakness. You are unwilling to grant liberty to young women, unable to have someone else displace your role as celebate sugar daddy. Because, I don't know if you've noticed, but when young women chase older men, that's usually one of the things going on; it may be the "innocent" daughter who is, in fact, exploiting the other party. And good for her, if so. A pervert and his money are soon parted.

This is about artificially extending control. As most overprotective parenting is.

Raise age of consent to 100.

Global warming solved. Housing prices in Toronto... solved!

Looking at what's going on in the news, at the Universities, talk shows/day TV, streets/demonstrations, in the government itself, and on the intertubes, it's clear that huge swaths of Americans lack the mental development/maturity to behave as adults and/or take personal responsibility for their actions. The infant mentality extends well beyond age 30.

Raising age of consent to 100 solves everything.

The reason is that 15 yo don't need to give bj-s to sugar daddys, they need a daddy and being in school. You have the authority of a parent. The argument of why a 15 yo should not fuck around with 30 yo men, is cause the latter are probably messed up individuals, who have a slew of relationship problems under the hood, else they wouldn't chase girls, but women.

Strong enough for what? Does she live on her own, does she have a job? 15 yo schoolgirls shoud be in school getting and education, not giving bj-s to sugar daddys. Is dropping out of high school and being a whore a reasonable life plan in your opinion? Isn't the western society messed up enough already?

Yes that is a fact, my sexist-wired patriarchal male brain tell me so + my experience with males & females so far. I can't help it, but be protectionist esp. in case of females, it's a biological thing. I do not believe in biological equality. Keep predator's paws off your young.
