You really should read the thread before you try the whole "post an image by itself as a reply" thing. Just some friendly advice for you. If you wanted to try to join the rather small crowd of those posting negative replies, take a look at some of the other super witty critics in this thread and learn from them. You won't actually accomplish anything by doing it, but at least you'll be able to vent some of that pent up rage!

WTBeg 6L shavs, I gave mine away, Ive played this game for 15 hours... whoever indulged this shit, shame on you.
The sad thing? You've indulged in this more than anyone else. Keep rage posting though! The purpose of this thread has already been accomplished so you won't actually accomplish anything, but at least you'll keep bumping this the thread!
Oh, and speaking of indulging? You're the only one who can't stop talking about my gender. None of the people who have PM'd me, talked to me or met me in game, or who I've talked to on Skype or on this topic have made any mention of it.
Try to be a little happier in the future and don't waste so much time raging at someone who won't give you the time of day except in this response, which is mostly out of pity because I feel bad that some people are still spending their time angry over the internet.

Well, i have to say this was a good read.
Too bad you sold your 6l shav. If you won't be able to make the 5ex, then you can no longer offer your shav.
But then again you have skype, a crappy webcam and perhaps another way to make it up?
Reading between the lines was fun in this thread.
Keep it coming :D
Glad you enjoyed it! =3
I do want to clarify a point about the shavs. The person I gave it to was a RL girlfriend who is part of the small group that knows each other IRL and plays this game together. So if it really came down to it and I absolutely could not pay back the 5ex in a reasonable amount of time, I could certainly explain the situation to her and get the shavs back.
That being said, I really don't think it will have to come down to that. :)
Also, the person who helped me out certainly didn't care at all about my gender. The only ones who do seem to be the negative posters on this thread like Mr. snorkle. ;)

Ixoziel wrote:
Don't mean to be rude, but how exactly are you having problems mapping when you have a 6l shavs?
If the maps are that hard, maybe you should stop focusing on IR / IQ and get some stats that will help your minions.
Furthermore, mentioning that you're a girl constantly makes you look like a gold digger.
I never said that I'm having problems mapping, did I? Let me explain this to all the people who seem not to understand what I was saying.
Let's take a farming char that has 1ex of gear and one that has 6ex of gear. The 1ex will be weaker and thus will have to farm lower level maps, thus farming less than the 6ex char. The 1ex char will also have less IIR/IIQ stats, which means they will also be getting even less drops than the 6ex char.
That doesn't seem very complicated, now does it?
Also, I would love for you to show me where I have constantly mentioned my gender. If anything, I do NOT like to talk about it because it just draws unwanted attention from people who only seem interested in posting negative comments on this thread. Does my gender really matter? No, not to anyone but the trash talkers. :)

Lol. I love your response. It's pure gold. You call out others for having negative responses, yet you write up the most negative and judgemental reply just to prove that I shouldn't comment on your thread with my own opinion. What a nice double standard, and so much for freedom of speech! It seems like you are quite sensitive when someone else brings up the 36ex item again. Sure, you gave a 36ex item to a friend and now you are asking for a 5ex loan. It makes perfect sense! Whoever falls for the "female nerd gamer" gimmick probably deserves it anyways.
Btw, I love your comical talent and keep up with the good work!

This thread has had me in stitches! xDDDD
OP, I'm a girl too so your feminine voodoo won't work on me. :P
(well then again it might because kappapride, so who knows? ;) )
What I CAN do for you though, is give you some good advice. I'll start off by reminding you of the old adage, reworked to be more fitting for this game: "Give an exile an exalt, gear them for a day. Teach an exile to farm exalts, they can fully gear their chars for the rest of their time spent playing PoE."
So with that in mind, here's how I have managed to get 14 exalts to drop this league, and gear up a cospri's discharger, a HOwA lightning striker, and several other characters in this league alone...
1.) Stop asking for loans, and stop asking people for currency. Most won't give it to you anyways, because while it's true that some are greedy tools, most are trying to get you to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps.
2.) Stop trying to make MF characters. Honestly, they are the biggest noob trap ever. The only good thing they give you is stuff for the chaos recipe, which is in itself a noob trap. For less than an exalt, you can gear up a firestorm elementalist that can farm higher content at a faster pace, which yields more drops. Which of course, yields more currency. As a person that's tried the high IIR/IIQ route, it's a massive money sink into something that doesn't really pay for itself.
3.) The most obvious way to make money is to play. Don't sit in town, and don't sit in your hideout. MAP! Farm dried lake. If your character is strong enough and able to, charge people 2c each for cruel lab carries. By the time you're level 75-80, you should be able to comfortable carry a full party of people through lab in cruel difficulty. Doing this for a day, even with dummies that don't follow instructions and enter the boss room to get themselves 1shot, I was able to come up with about 100c. You can do A LOT with 100c for gearing your character.
4.) Shame you aren't in the current temp league, because breachstone rotas are the bee's knees for making currency. In your off hand (since you're an INT-based char), equip 2 wands with 3 blue sockets in each one. They don't need to be linked, just blue and 3 sockets each. Go to act 3 in merciless and buy 6 discipline gems. Put them in those wand sockets. Now switch back to you main setup and forget about those gems for a while. Just keep killing stuff. Level those discipline gems up to 20, then use vaal orbs on them. Usually 1-in-4 to 1-in-6 of them will vaal to 21/20. Sell them all for a nice profit. They cost you 6 chance orbs and you're making about 30c to an exalt off of it, just from doing nothing else but playing the game. In breachstone rotas, you're killing so much stuff so fast that you can level up gems very quickly. For 6c and 6 chance orbs, you're making a fast profit.
5.) Make a cheap uber lab farming character. Builds like ancestral warchief totem can be fully geared for uber lab for less than 10c. The divination cards and quality gems that drop from uber lab can make you a crap ton of money. Bring a nice hubris circlet with you when you do uber lab and and farm enchants on them as well. You can make money this way too.
6.) Roll diviner strongboxes when you come across them. Usually you wanna get something on it like "contains x additional items" and "+ x to chest level". I've actually gotten a 'the fiend' divination card (part of a set to get a headhunter) to drop this league. I had it listed for 9ex and sold it in about an hour for 8ex. (btw, haggling is okay and be willing to take less than what you list if you're low on cash)
7.) Wealth of knowledge = wealth of in-game currency. Live on the poe wiki and poeaffix.net websites. Learn prefixes and affixes of items. Know what items are worth money and what items are pure garbo to vendor. Learn what to pick up and what to not pick up while you farm. The more time you spend picking up garbage uniques that won't sell and garbage rares to vendor, the more time you're in town vendoring crap. The more time you spend in town vendoring, the less time you're farming and making actual currency drops and getting good stuff to drop.
And no, NONE of this cash I got was ever farmed with MF characters. It was purely constant mapping, doing map rotas (you can find them by opening the chat box in-game and typing /global820 ) and more. And keep in mind that I'm not in standard, I only play temp leagues. So if I can make five times as much as you're asking for a loan for in two months' time without an MF char, you can do that in standard without too much trouble too. Hell, in standard you have access to stuff that isn't even available in temp leagues that would make a char opieop for farming currency (like some talismans), so I don't get why you're struggling to make cash. The only thing stopping you from making your own cash is yourself.
