poe.trade not selling my currency for the correct amount

Just got a premium tab and set it to allow selling from it. (Currently imaginatively named "SELL".) I put in some currency to trade and cannot get it to display the correct sales prices on some items.

If there is a 1 in the stack or the price, it seems to list correctly. However, if BOTH the stack and the sell price are not 1, it acts as if the stack is 1.

So, frex, I wanted to sell 10 Jeweler orbs for 19 Orbs of Alteration, but it shows up on poe.trade as 1 Jeweler for 19 Alterations. This seems to be true whether I have selected "price" or "exact price". I assumed the second option would be the correct one.

I have seen many other traders able to make such listings as I am trying to make.

I have no apparent trouble trying to sell 1 of an orb for 1 or more of another orb, nor do I seem to have a problem selling a stack of 2 or more orbs for one of another orb. It's only when both the stack AND the price are not 1.

Is this a bug, or am I doing it wrong?

Also, I'd like to complain that the possible prices only goes as low as an Orb of Alteration. I'd like to be able to ask for Orbs of Transmutation.

Also also, I got a currency tab, and I am disappointed that you organized it rather randomly rather than by value of currency (eg Wisdom, Portal, Transmutation, Augmentation, Alteration, etc.) It's already hard enough to remember the order in which these items are supposed to go, the least you could do is put them in that order for something I paid money for.

Currencies are fundamentally different from other items because they're typically traded in bulk. You might buy 31 chisels for 10 chaos. You probably won't buy 31 Wanderlust Wool Shoes in a single transaction. Because of this, currencies are typically listed differently.

The easiest way to list an offer to trade X of A for Y of B is to have a shop.

You'll then get this interface, which I think you would like;

I'm not sure if you're aware, but PoE Trade isn't owned or maintained by GGG. It's something that one player works on in their own time, and pays for out of their own pocket. If you've got feedback then I'm sure they'd love to hear it, but I wouldn't rush to complain to them. :)

He doesn't watch every thread on the forums - to provide feedback on the website there's a dedicated thread which he monitors. You can find the thread here. As you'd probably expect, the guy who created the thread is the guy who owns the website.

Same as the above - use my link to bring your feedback to his attention if you'd like.

Happy trading, Exile.

Um. They are grouped logically for their intended use, crafting. The items that add quality (chisels, scraps, whetstones, and GCPs) are together, the items that are are for magic items (trans/aug/alt/regal) are together, the items that modify sockets (jewellers, fuses, chromatics) are together. It makes perfect sense.

As for PoE.trade, just like div cards, prices are always for a unit of 1. If you want to sell a stack of a currency, do like sarno said, and use the Shop manager. Or you set your ratio in fractions of a single unit.
U MAD?
Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. It looks like the Store you suggested also has the additional functionality of allowing trading of lower-level currencies that I was looking for.
An update:

Through the system you directed me to, they had a page which explains how to list currency the way I had intended by using the NOTE field.

HOWEVER, I discovered that using the PRICE field (instead of the EXACT PRICE field) AND using a slash to separate the two numbers, allowed me to list the orbs for the prices I wanted to list them for.

When you do this, it will show you a decimal on the hover text, but you can do the right-click thing again and inspect the NOTE and see that it uses "-b/o xx/xx orb" format and tweak your values if you entered them wrong.

However, I don't seem able to list lesser currencies this way, so I'll have to use the store page for that.

Thanks again!
