you have over 300ms that starts from hop 1.

hop 1 is YOU. which means that likely you are having a wireless connection issue that is causing you problems in game.

for gaming i always suggest a wired connection, unless wired is not possible in your location (like traveling). wireless connections suffer from signal degradation through walls and objects. also appliances like microwaves and wireless phones can interfere with the signal.

unplug your router. connect your coputer to the router using a wired connection. then plug your router back in. if necessary turn off the wireless on your computer as well. then run the MTR test again and check to see if your latency has improved.

Hmm, I've been using wireless since I started playing this game and it's only now that these issues happened. Now it's connecting me to washington somehow. What do I do?

due to the nature of the problem its one of those "on an idividual basis" sort of things. one person may have a legit issue with their side of the connection and be blamming GGG all the same since they see everyone else doing it. while someone else may have a perfect connection to GGG right up until their servers and then craps out.

that is why it is kind of important to do MTR tests.

anyway..
your problem seems like its not you. your latency seems to jump around a bit though. nothing you can do about that. it really goes somewhere though when it hits the 'networklayer' GGG side of things.

well, aside from the 'networklayer' GGG issues that seem to be going on. it looks like you are having issues with your ISP still. these addresses i believe belong to your ISP. the MTR says that the maximum latency was over 200ms before you even got outside your ISP network. this is a problem because that causes your latency to be very high for everything after that. your ISP network "ideally" shouldnt be higher than around 60ms.

so your Internet Service Provider is who you will need to talk to about your high latency.

Here's one traced to the instance ip. I'm being routed through US it seems. Singapore gateway.

it's like we r the outcast.


we should start a thread in reddit and show how GGG treat sg gateway users like dirt.

so i think i found the problem and its like i am being routed to california server

in the gateway on login screen my california and singapore pings are similar with 5-10 ping difference.

even when my fps drops to 0 and the pings spike california and sg remain the same pings no matter to what ping it spikes to.

Also at times all the pings baring 1-2 gateways are the same

If this is the problem who is to be blamed? My isp or GGG ?

Just a heads up....most people by now know that there is a problem with singtel, the problems seem to be caused in whole by fibre cables being cut, those outside Singapore are having their traffic routed through a different longer set of hops along with most outer outside traffic causing at best increased latency or at worst massive lag spikes particularly at peek times as everyone that used those cables are put into ones that are 2 or 3 times more congested than before.

Those in Singapore, same deal...more traffic through previously normal connections putting a massive load on them and causing latency.
