Skill gem stash Tabs
agree that having a stash tab that allowed for easy storage and management of gems would be very helpful and make the game as a whole more enjoyable. (Take away the unpleasant task of sorting them manually and such) Some thought in the design would be needed of course as they don't stack and such (i.e. the stash tab would not be of the same design/type as say the currency or essence tabs.
Maybe make it a gem dedicated quad sized tab that has a sort and filter function. Just being able to sort them alphabetically by their primary name (dropping "superior") or by the full name (retaining superior so all your superior gems are sorted together) would save so much time and frustration. With the search / filter function already available in the normal tabs, that would make it very helpful. Also maybe add a toggle for "red" "Blue" "Green" gem types, or sell a bundle of three normal sized tabs, but each dedicated to a gem color ("green gem stash", etc.). Anyway, those are some ideas to make a tab system to help organize those pesky gems. I really would like a gem stash tab option : ) |

" +1 Cons from previous posters -not inherently stackable -immensely varied -why hang on to them? Responses (sez me, argh) + Agreed, so make it a quad stash tab + A gem MTX tab should be a quad stash tab with a Gem library search (explained below) + Because waiting for a gem from Loot Buddha, RNGeezus, and all the other Drop Deities...stinks. Search library: simply, a checkbox filter system that utilizes the same tags as the standard search but is more user friendly, in that you do not have to memorize all of the possible tags. GGG, love the game, hopefully this would be a workable solution. Given the price of the quad tab and the (hopefully) simplistic implementation, I think 200 coin would be fair, especially given the demand. Also, a map tab would not be harmful... |

" what do you 'wait' for? POE 2.6: With the first char you solve the last quest in act 4 normal, you have access to any gem that is offered as a reward. This means, you now only need to keep: -drop only gems -gems with quality -gems you may need at level 1 -gems (you may want to use) with experience (dropping only from specific gemcutter's box; the xp on the gems you can buy from Siosa raises with each difficulty) -gems with higher base that may be useful, to save the currency (alchemy, chance) instead of buying. This all should easily fit into 1 regular tab, even as it hurts to throw away the stuff 'between' - its not worth anything anymore. ^^ invited by timer @ 10.12.2011
