Things hit way too hard.

I remember when mobs with leap slam and molten shell would one shot most players, and those with decent gear would still get near 1 shot. This was a good thing.

Good or bad, at least it provided the game with some challenge, and give you things you NEEDED to play around and anticipate.

Every bit of feedback GGG gets, in regards to difficulty, makes them continually make a worse game every update trying to placate the idea that you should be able to multitask while playing PoE and that all content should be manageable by those who are unwilling to give the game their full attention.
There is a difference between being able to outplay a mechanic and having to outbuild it. The former implies that come degree of skill is required to get around it, while the latter means that you reach a point where no amount of skill will save you without the right build or gear. Breaches appear to be a case of the latter, because if you don't have a whole lot of area clear and a respectable single-target damage source (for those rares that make their allies invulnerable) and the mobility or tankiness to either move around the breach quickly and avoid the flame pillars and lightning balls or face-tank them with Vaal Pact then you will be swarmed and murdered in some breaches and there's nothing you can do about it except run away (if you're lucky).

Mitigation is terrible most of it anyway why do you think ES is king right now? Obvious answer because THINGS HIT like T R U C K S and most your layer of layer defenses is NOT going to help you regardless of outcome.

People complained that the game is too easy 2 weeks ago .
Game needs a rebalance, badly. challenge needs to come from being overrun or wore down when facing equal level mons. One shot mechanics simply fucking suck and are no fun. Usually people only know a mon is tough because it killed you before you saw or registered it.

And this breach league...

Dammit. Quality > quantity. A game with packs of five mons you have to kite apart and take out one at a time is fun, packs of 20 mons you can kill with a sneeze are boring, and making those 20 packs 50 packs is not addressing the issue.

I would LOVE to see a rebalance that dropped mon population by 3/4s, and ramped up the individual toughness WITHOUT making them able to one shot supposedly tanky chars. Especially for bosses.

Need to nerf life regen and flasks to make any new balance work, but it could make the game so much better
