[2.6] CwC ChaosStorm Berserker - 4 Breach Lords + Uber Atziri + Guardians + Shaper! [Videos]

Just out of curiosity, I had a question for you. Why go for a berserker ascendancy? I've been looking around and such, but I haven't been able to find anything that would explain it. I am currently lookin into potential builds for 2.6, and this one came up, but for the life of me I cant explain berserker. I am currently running the CI Occultist, blight CwC vortex variant of this build, which I guess would explain my curiosity.

Occultist is in a much better spot to go CI and can access all of the Chaos damage nodes without stretching the tree so far.

I chose to do Berserker because I wanted to make a high life character that took advantage of 100% instant life leech and double dipped on the 40% more damage from the Ascendancy. This build is basically my take on killing bosses as fast as possible so I could farm all the Breachlords and Uber Atziri this league.

I managed to get the character to 7.4k life so it's capable of doing all the end-game bosses, I'm sure with a bit of practice I could have done Shaper deathless as well, annoyingly it's almost impossible to get 8k+ life without Kaom's Heart but if there were to be buffs to life nodes and nerfs to ES nodes this build would be on par defensively with the CI builds.

I try this build with a level 90 marauder today in standard. Very interesting. I have done uber izaro with easy. Kaoms+rime. Gems are low firestorm level 17! I was searching for a boss killer without the ci meta. I'm very excited after the changes in 3.0. I hope the berserker leech nerf is not too hard. This build is strong, not comparable with my howa raider in breach but for this budgt very strong.

I know it would be a DPS loss but the new version of the Covenant looks pretty tasty for this build also.

The free added chaos looks nice but you would need 2 legacy Consuming Dark to get 90% conversion otherwise you'd be stuck at 60%. I think the better option for that though would be the new Incandescent Heart, 20% added chaos damage based on the total fire damage before conversion would probably be better than added chaos, although you'd probably want to go CI+Occultist.


It would be close actually, because you're missing out on 10-15% fire to chaos conversion as well as +1 gem level to firestorm.

that does sound nice, and comes with a life roll. If you get 90% from legacy daggers, and then 15% from chest, does the chaos conversion calc scale above 100%? Say to 105% from chest, then 110% from Red Dream/nightmare?

No conversion doesn't go above 100%, but the Red Dream/Nightmare and the new Incandescent Heart are %fire/elemental damage ADDED as chaos, not converted - so they will still add more chaos damage even if all the fire damage is converted to chaos because added damage is scaled before conversions.

Can i get by without arcane chemistry node? You put those on both trees.

Yeah Arcane Chemistry is mainly quality of life once you are higher level and have flasks that you want to use 3 times instead of just twice (Atziri's Promise, Rumi's and Witchfire Brew).
