[2.6] CwC ChaosStorm Berserker - 4 Breach Lords + Uber Atziri + Guardians + Shaper! [Videos]

I finally did it! It took about a week but I managed to get the +1 curse item I wanted via crafting with Vaal Orbs, it took about 60 I think, but most of them remained sellable so I may recover some of the costs. This is now where I would call the build complete:

Stats at 94:
7.35k Life (up to 7.5k with optimised gear)
7.1k Firestorm tooltip unbuffed (12.1k with Ele Overload + Atziri Flask)

Farmed up two sets just in case, this was my second attempt on this character. Could have gone smoother but I think with a few more attempts my heart rate will calm down a little and I should be able to do it safely. Solid character all round and has potential to hit 9k life with Kaoms and then using CwC Firestorm in Rime Gaze it should be similar damage, something I will mess around with once I fund my next character.

By far the biggest wealth generating character I have had so far with 35 Exalts profit from Uber Atziri alone.

m8 can u post ur tooltips?

i realy can't understand how u can survive (i don't look the video's yet, my fail) with
something like 0 armor/evasion and my firestorm is too slowly to kill something without take oneshot....can u look on my char? ty


edit: now is more better, shoot down most of t15 corrut but i feel really lack on dps, due to 5l? or juwel?
p.s. i try atziri amulet and essence worm cos i ve all the res and good life but u think is possible to find some item for boost spell dmg?

after checkin your gear i'd say

dps terms :
-gems have no quality
-get better rolls on daggers
-void should be used as 6th link
-amu has no dps boost
-rings may have dps stats

surv terms:
-ring amd amu without hp
-belt and gloves with weak stats
-belt should be first to change,aim for leather or heavy belt

You should drop the Atziri amulet - get high life and fire damage or chaos damage if you can craft one with an Envy Essence. You'd also be better to swap Essence Worm for Doedre's Damning so that your Witchfire Brew Vulnerability curse actually works, but you could also drop that flask for a Jade or Basalt flask for protection and get a ring with high life and strength.

Your main defensive weakness is low life, this build has 100% life leech with Vaal Pact so getting a high life pool so that 1 shots don't occur is it's main defence - you seem to have around 6k life whereas my character has 7.4k life making it less likely to be 1 shot allowing the 100% leech to keep it alive.

Here is my tooltip with Increased Duration as the 6th link, I used this setup to kill the Shaper the duration is better for single target but if you are clearing controlled destruction is better tooltip DPS (12k I think). Although Inc Duration does show the effective tooltip DPS of a 5L.

You are also using 2 life flasks, you only need one the other can be a defensive flask such as a Basalt or Jade. These were my flasks before getting +1 curse for Witchfire Brew:


Edit: Also you are using a level 20 Wither - that should only be level 3 maximum - you are using too much mana casting a high level Wither for no DPS benefit.

ok looking your videos i see im leacking in +life and +chaos dmg, another one question is: its a mandatory the 3 alchemy point? (+effect& duration flask effect) or i can sacrificate for boost with another gem or more life? and the lvl 1 wither have no increased radius...is a problem?

You don't really need increased radius on wither, against bosses it is easy to keep them within range and for trash mobs they don't need to have sustained wither stacks on them anyway. You don't need the flask nodes, but they definitely make Rumi's Concoction a lot better (although nerfed it still gives 26% block instead of 20%) and when you get +1 curse using Witchfire Brew will get you 91% increased DoT instead of 70% (max).

I like to use flasks for defence as well so the granite/jade flasks give an additional 900 flat armour/evasion. Another jewel may be worth it though, you can get more life and DPS.

now i try for second curse on gloves (no need so much mana to flame the world) and i take +10 spell dmg and 16% ele dmg from node (leaving the 3 point of alchemy)
Amulet need the +1 curse corrupt but i really love it so i think i use doedre ring for a long time....

now its only a question of boost some dmg with jewel.....

Got a question regarding void manipulation. I'm leveling up a char now and I checked different gem setups in my chest item and it seems that using VM in any form lowers my dps.

Atm I'm using wither - cwc - firestorm - ele focus - controlled destr. (no 6l yet)
If I switch either ele focus or controlled destruction to void manipulation the dps decreases both in initial fire dmg and also chaos dmg by a good margin. Is this one of those gems that even though sheet dps is lower the actual dmg is higher?

Another question:
Now that I got to lvl85 I'm not sure which passives to take next. My defense is kind of maxed out so any more dps would be welcome. Should I add more fire dmg... Heart of Flame cluster, for 7 points? Or add 2 more jewels for 5 more points?
This is my current tree:

Void Manipulation is one of the gems that adds more than it seems, what level is it? It won't give as much tooltip as Controlled Destruction or Ele Focus because they are straight more multipliers without any reduction, but Void Manipulation applies to both the base hit and the Poison DoT so it double dips whereas the others do not.

Similarly Conc Effect double dips so using that instead of Ele Focus against bosses is well worth it.

I see you are going CI so 100% leech is out of the question, but you should still be able to leech fairly well if you get a good rolled Atziri's Flask. Probably swap it in over your Ignite immune flask.

You will get more damage via Jewel sockets if you are able to craft/afford the rolls - %max ES, area damage, chaos damage etc. You should also get the final Skill Duration node.
