" No. As the 64bit cliënt requires directx 11. Directx 11 is supported by even very very old videocards, for nvidia it's the 400 and higher series(if I'm not mistaken). Don't know about ATI cards. But both those types of videocards are already very very cheap nowadays. A quick look at shops showed the nvidia 700 series cards at 45 euro's(didn't find anywhere selling the lower series). So if you can find a 400 series for sale anywhere, they will likely be around 20 euro's or less. Edit: You most likely already have a directx11 videocard without knowing it. " It would be backwards compatible. Meaning it should work but you wouldn't see the new features/improved graphics of DirectX 11. I wonder why they decided not to use the latest DirectX 12? Even video cards a few years old support it (eg. GTX 970, etc). |
