Goodbye community!

Hello i just wanted to say goodbye to this lovely community !
I really enjoyed the time spent with my friends and random ppl in this game !
I`m leaving the game since they just trashed my build so hard its unplayable and i`m tired to farm all those exalts once again to just spend for other build that will get nerfed after 2-3 months !

Really sad that i leave but theres no choice

I think he is saying that balancing should be subtler and less punch you in your face kick you while your down (although I don’t know specifically what he is referring to). It is nice to create many different builds and have fun in that regard, however, there is also an appeal to having a 'main' so to speak.

My old main in POE is pretty much useless now, It didn’t affect me too much because I took a long break from POE, and having a character become useless over many many patches does make sense. I also came back to play new builds and have fun in HC.

That said I spent a great deal of currency on that character and she was able to clear quite a many higher level endgame maps fairly effectively (now she struggles to even clear the lowest level end game map).

How would you feel if the character you spent hundreds of exalts on became completely useless overnight and the gear you spent so much on was now devalued to under an exalt?

Yes, me too. Destroyed my entire character for no reason.

That sounds like a harsh exaggeration, what became completely useless in 2.5? And I never sell what I crafted/bought for my characters so the worth is completely irrelevant to me.

I really think getting attached to anything in PoE is wrong from the get go.

Honestly cannot understand why people get so upset and dramatic when their build is nerfed. Once I've played the same build for a month (sometimes less), I just can't look at it anymore. Doesn't matter how much it demolishes content or not, I just need something different to keep me going. Even now I'm planning my build for Breach and thinking of easy builds to start off with no currency (especially since I'm getting a late start of at least a week) and I'm like "well this build is easy and cheap, but I played it 4 leagues ago so I don't really want to do it again".
